Manchester United can secure the title before our closest rivals, Liverpool, even play another game, with a win and a draw against Wigan on Wednesday and Arsenal early on Saturday, enough to see us crowned Champions.

Whilst of course we should be favourites for both these games, it certainly is not a forgone conclusion. Park is confident though and is hoping to get the points on the board this week when we finally get rid of that game in hand that has been hanging over us for the best part of the season!

“I’m confident we’ll win the title,” said Park. “One win and one draw is enough for us but I want to win the rest of our games, starting at Wigan. No other team has a match on Wednesday – it’s our game in hand – so after we play there we’ll all have played 36 times. It’s a great opportunity to put a bigger gap between us and the other teams.”
