Andreas Pereira was a second half substitute in Manchester United’s recent 2-0 defeat against Stoke. The youngster has spoken of his frustration at United failing to convert their chances, but has praised the fans for always sticking by the team.
I think we were better in the second half, but we have to finish our chances. Of course, Stoke played really well, but I think we have to look at ourselves and make sure we do better. It’s not long until the next game so I think we have to move on from this game and forget about the loss. We just have to keep working hard and stick together now. We have to focus on Monday’s game and make sure we do better, in order to get the three points. It’s important to get the three points in the next game.
The fans are always great. They always support us and that’s something we’re really happy about. We have to show them [our appreciation] by picking up three points on Monday.
