After scoring the opening goal against Burnley, before setting up our second with a parried shot from the keeper, Dimitar Berbatov limped off the field to a standing ovation from the Stretford End.
Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that decisions would be made today in regards to whether Berbatov would need surgery on his knee, rather than waiting until the end of the season.
Turns out it was just a dead leg and there’s a chance he can play tomorrow against City.
“I thought Dimitar had got a knock on the knee,” Ferguson said. “It turned out it was a dead leg and we are having a look at that. I am hoping he will be all right but he is a doubt and we will see what he is like in the morning.”
