Regarding the game I really have to say I just don't get the hype regarding Modric. Another mediocre performance. A decent enough player but for those who say he will be our new Scholes, sorry but he ain't in the same league as Paul was even at 18.

King Eric - hello mate. some points from my side. in fact tevez was the best player for city but others were dull and didn't help him at all. modric played on the left the whole season. can't blame him for being modest yesterday playing in the middle. at 23 you can't be consistent all the time.

PS Do you REALLY think he played well against us? I didn't. Made a few good balls when he came into the middle but drifts in and out. Just don't think he is what we need.

King Eric - I thought he done well against us, his controll in tight spaces was very good and for a small guy, he's not easy pushed off a ball. Ronnys kept Madrid in that title race, a brillant hat - trick, he's matching Messi blow for bow, and in his first season as well. Higuian is good against the lesser teams, but when he's asked to produce in a game that matters, Barca, or Lyon, he always seems to go missing.

I agree about Ronaldo. I also rate him higher than Messi. It's not because he has a better goal average this season. It's the fact that Ronadlo can dig his team out of holes more often than Messi. If Barca are struggling, you won't find Messi coming to their rescue as often as Ronaldo would.

I don't like to underestimate other leagues, but it tells all you need to know about La Liga when Ronaldo ia averaging a goal per game. Something he couldn't do even in his best season for us.

Let's not forget Rodwell is just 18. Hard to judge a player at this age.
And yes, Ronaldo has been immense for Real. I told it during autumn already. Many of us thought or wanted to think that he won't be the main star between the stars anymore. Anyway don't think he get's the same father-son treatment as he did get while playing with us. When i watch Real play i wish Cristiano all the best. Can't help myself even hating madrid club as much as i do. He is just a part of our history. Some hate him, some think he is arrogant, some think he is a star. For me he is like a child who needs special treatment.

I agree with all the positive comments on Ronaldo. Course he's got a big ego ... that's an essential part of his make up ..... but he's been a class act re Fergie and United in everything he's said or done since leaving us.

He'll have loved Fergie saying he'd pay 60m for Ronaldo but not for Messi. .... No coincidence that he says it just after Ronaldo was qouted as sayimg Real won't be his last club! .
