good result in the end. to my mind, giggs looked a lil off pace and dint have his usual range of passing. struggled at times. jones was good, throwing tackles, trying too hard at times. but u gotta love that guy. evra had a good game.

but the men of the moment were rio and david de gea for me. fantastic, absolutely fantastic

Fletch - The Beeb reporting that that the FA were looking into an incident from the game. Didn't say what. My first thought was Evra's badge-kissing was getting scrutinised. Looks instead that its this exchange you mentioned.

Not hopeful here. They didn't give Evra any credit at the last incident - Stamford Bridge - and they won't this time either. He'll be lucky to escape a ban for bad hearing.

I should believe Evra has silenced his critics today that have been at him saying he does not do enough defensively. I believe he was in our top 3 performers of the game and probably the most dedicated in all of our back 4.

As for the racism, i sincerely hope that two-bit cunt, big toothed bastard of a scouse is brought to justice for it. Can't believe how he conducted himself throughout the game, first kicking paddy and then trying to laugh it off by ruffling his hair!?!?!? Welldone Paddy. . He played really well. Infact the whole back four and De Gea played exceptionally. . Some think Jones is the best thing since slice bread but i so much rate chris Smalling better as a defender. Smalling's performance was a source of Joy to me today. Am glad he is back., solid display from Jônný Evans too, Rio was fantastic. Ashley Young was poor once again. All in all we got the result we needed. . I think someone should tell Berba that his time is up @ United, our last three previous matches @ anfield were losses and Berbatov started all. And today he didnt play @ all and we secured a draw even with a defensive lineup and without our attacking players. . . Hmn, coincidence?, omen?.

Evra was wound up front the start. Did anyone else notice something that happened at coin toss. I think he was having a go at Mariner, maybe we won toss but did not get chioce of ends!? The sun was a factor and could of been what Evra was unhappy about.
