Fully agree it was a mile offside, similar to an Henry goal against the Arseholes a while back, and the lino was fucking disgraceful allowing it or 'not seeing it' when you can see not one but 2 rentboys are offside. BUT there is no point going on about it when we were already a goal down from the shite performance in the first half, and we had a 'hand of future god' goal from Kiko. We played poorly and that is the reason we lost. The league isnt over yet anyway!!

We need to forget it and move on and get ready for Bayern!!!!

OMG, linesman was on the line some more & he missed it. Should resign & start sucking cock for living. When Giggs & Evra was off, they saw. This was miles away. Should he stand even with the crowd & come in, get the pass & score, i dun think it was an offside oso. Fuck FA.

Otram @ 13:11: "Wtf was he doing saw him wiping his face afterwards"

Maybe it was a form of homage to the RentBoyz fan who was brushing his teeth at Stamford Bridge ?

Obviously Drogba was CLEARLY offsides; that's just indisputable.

The problem, however, is somewhat more complex since this offsides rule is awful - my own belief is that it should be changed dramatically to simplify the officials' decisions.

What I would like to see is a field divided into three zones - passing the ball from the neutral zone to the attacking zone would be governed by the current rule but once the ball is "alive in the attacking zone" then there would be no offsides.

This is basically the rule that's used in ice hockey and it would open up the field and go some way towards preventing teams from parking-the-bus. I'm sure that there would be some "goal hanging" but I would think that that would be less of a problem than imagined.

But, under the current rules, this decision by the linesman was simply wrong. No judgement was required to see that there was actually open air between the last defender and BOTH attackers.

Cheating fucking cunt linesman. As much as I am fucked off right now, let's not forget they still have to go to Spurs and Liverpool and if our second half performance was anything to go by, they can be got at. So while there's only 2 points in it, let's try and remain positive.

This is unbeliveable, how could he miss this. We are talking about the biggest game of the season and a linesman make a mistake like this. I say, he did it on purpose, just look what he did afterwards with his hand.

If this is the best league in the world people might think again cos to let this happen at a game of this HIGH importance it is either on purpose or the Russian Mafia is in full swing !
Who is going to take responability to this shit ? Is the result going to be changed ? Is the linesman involved going to resign ?Cos if he has got a concience he is going to live with remorse all his entire life that once he fucked up a title to Man Utd. NO, OFCOURSE NOT,COS I THING THERE ARE PEOPLE THERE WHO ARE VERY INTERESTED IN MAN UTD NOT WINNING THE TITLE THIS SEASON. Another question to the people who decide which ref and linesmen will officiate games. How come and on what merit these officials where chosen? Cos we have seen them ALL season doing gafs !
Now the media are happy cos they have been saying that it is so boring that Man Utd win the title again and another thing, what if Wayne Rooney get injured? They weren't crying for Rooney of Man Utd they where crying for Rooney of England weren't they ? See the picture for yourselfs and answer my questions you TOP BRASS people!!!

A Thought..... If we lose the title would it be possible to take issue with all the decisions that the FA have seemingly colluded against us and take the matter to law....sort of an suing them for lost profits etc.. we stand to lose millions if we finish second () third in the premiership and if it ever could be proved that the incompetents at the FA were to be held culpable for their indecision and stupidity they should be held to account. Manchester United get red cards for diving, elbowing and for fouls etc. but other teams seem to get away with it and it has been seen to be true. Referees and assistant referees give outrageous decisions against us such as that idiot yesterday when the rubber lipped one was clearly offside ...
those decisions are costing this great club of ours a fucking fortune and we should be able to do something about. I know if i fucked up at work I would have to pay to put what I fucked up right so why noy chase the FA through the courts for the ANTI-united BIAS.

The Linesman's name is SIMON BECK.

Make a note see how many other things he gives Chelsea. See if he ever runs the line in a EPL game again.

Maybe a bit controversial to say this, but linesmen are just humans, and I wouldn't be surprised if he supports another team and knew it was offside, but because he doesn't like United, he didn't take his flag up. I don't trust referees one bit. And why the f*** did the FA let them referee the most important match of the season?

I am more gutted about the performance of the team in the last two games than anything. Seems like SAF told them last Tuesday to "take it easy for the rentboys" . Evra played like a zombie compared to his previous performances and not surprising as he must be exhausted mentally and physically. Park was not in the area where he was needed. Scholes is looking his age.
We were outplayed in the middle of the field and this is where we usually win the battle.

The fact that the officiating crew were piss poor did not help - yeah it ain't over till the fat lady sings but it ain't looking good.

On the bright side we have some decent talent coming through and with the core of the team we have we will survive and go on to do better next year.

I'm annoyed that even some United fans are parroting the line "oh but Macheda handled the ball" for our goal. Yeah well everytime I've seen it, I've clearly seen him chest the ball into the net. Handball? Hand-f**king-Ball!!! Why? because John-f**king-Terry said so!!!!? Pfftt. Yeah and all the decisions are given to United because all the officials are United fans FFS.

This was a horrible decision and I am tempted to feel sorry for United. . .but we had a stone wall penalty turned away and your goal was handball. But both those decisions where excusable on the part of the officials. How on earth the linesman failed to spot the offside is something I'll never be able to comprehend. I'd also have been livid if this had happened the other way round. Mind you we also got the rub of the green at The Bridge. Hahahaha!!

This was an awful decision but we didn't deserve anything out of that game. Chelsea came to our HOME are dominated most of the game and deserved the win.....I'm sorry but let's be honest here. That wasn't a performance of champions.

The offside rule works its the officials that dont. either the FA should get some fucking officials to do the job or introduce some technology because there is so many awful decisions occurring. most the times you just wave it on when it happens to another team but when its united it hurts. they need to sort it out because even though chelsea probably deserved the win who knows how it would have turned out if the linesman wasnt a rent boy in disguise or a fucking incompetent piece of shit. technology would also shut up all the united haters about all those decisions going our way, oh and JT is a cunt

look lads, i dont support man utd or chelski - i am a newcaslte fan. If i follow any other team i guess it would be man utd as i like your agressive attacking style. With this issue i think you need to look at the bigger picture as there always is one. the title is not won or lost over one game alone and while drogba is clearly a mile off-side and the linesman can see it clearly too you have to be honest and look at your own previous luck and hold your hands up fair and square. The most famous saying in the world of football is quite possibly 'fergie time'. i bet none of you minded man utd scoring a goal in the 7th minute of extra time that should have been over by 4 minutes at the begining of this season did you against man city? Dont get me wrong, that was the best derby i have seen in years, but like i say , the luck - both good and bad even themselves out by the end of the season.
I would say you will not win the prem now and you have a better chance of winning the champ league... you should concentrate on this more now. the away goal is critical and i think, gives man utd the edge. best of luck for that nad we look forward to getting thrashed by your team again next season haha.

@ craig chisholm - True words mate. As a manu supprter we never say anything when the decisions go our way, but cry like babies when they dont. I reckon we have had our fair share of decisions go our way this year. Just hate the fact that is was such a big off side, as off sides go... But, unless the fat lady has already sung and I missed her performance, The league is still on.....

What is it with the average football fan that they can only see one side of a coin????? Overall the calls went 50/50 for both teams. Park/Anelka, offside/handball (Look at the FA's interpretation and the instructions given to refereees, if the arms are in an unnatural position it's hand ball!!).

What I fail to understand is how any of you cannot begin to think about why is it that having lost Rooney their is no other replacement but for Berbatov???? £80 million and all that was spent was the money on Valencia. With Tevez and Ronaldo gone, there was a crying need for another top class forward.

That's the real reason United lost this match and quite possibly why they may lose the league.

You can shout and scream and stamp your feet about decisions but we all get them, lets be honest ask Spurs fans about the injustice of a ball being fully 2 1/2 over the line and no goal given. It happens!!

I still can't believe with new technology coming up, cd to dvd to blu ray disc. All cinema going from 2D-3D, 3D IMAX. there is improvement. Football? No improvement and we are still talking about the mistake that referee and official is making. How pathetic can we be? If we lose from the technology, i couldn't mind as we are rightly judge but we lose due to a open eyed fault?
