Sir Alex’s Son - I think people's feelings on the Red Knight's can be defined by your feelings for MUST. I support and trust MUST to do the best thing for our club and the best thing for our fans. They have been in several meetings with the Red Knights so know far more about their proposed plan than any newspaper or any United fan. If MUST believe the Red Knights are the best thing on offer for this football club, then I trust them on that.

I would be dubious about anyone who wanted to buy United but if they have the backing of MUST then I believe there has to be something positive about them. Nobody would ever spend £1.5b on United just for the "love of the club" and we're living in cloud cuckoo land if we expect someone who's been sitting in the Stretford End for the past 50 years to suddenly appear and rid us of our debt. Of course the Red Knights want to make money out of us, any owner would, but if they have the best interests of the club at heart, which is what MUST say they do, then that is better than being owned by the Glazers, who couldn't give a fuck less about our club or fans.

MUST wouldnt sell us down the river... no chance... they are in it for the best of the club, as we all are...

From what i have read, all the Red Knights would be entitled to from there investment if they ever was to leave was a 1% profit (which says to me that they are putting there money in coz of the love of united... not as an investment (after all only united fans are allowed within the red knights)... so that has got to give us added confidence with regards to the reasons why they are investing.

I aint being funny here, i think the likes of Bin Laden couldnt fuck us over more if he owned united compared to that of the Glazers.... after all we are "Customers" as stated in the Bond Issue manifest...

Customers??? Cheeky bastards.... we are... MANCHESTER UNITED... we aint customers... WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED....

If it wasnt for us, and our fathers, grandfathers... there wouldnt be the club... born and bred red... born and bred manc... tl the day i die...

Fuck the Glazers, Fuck the Bitters... all i want is for OUR club to be in safe hands... with our input in the control, and not to get fucked over purely for profit.

I will be a happy man, when i know that the profits of our club, are keeping ticket prices at a sensible level... when the Nazi Stewards are fucked off out of OT, and employ stewards who are fans who dont give us abuse (at an expense to us of £800 a season).

I will be a happy man, when the profits of ours club, are used to develop the ground further, to develop the acadamies further... to see that any of the money required for any players is there available to the manager.. that is when i will be a happy man... and when i am a happy man due to the above... i will then probably get a season ticket again.

Long live United.... Long live real United fans.... and May the Glazers and any other muppets that try and milk us or get in our way, burn in hell (preferebly wearing a citeh shirt).

I think he's done all he can, Hamoud. He pointed out at the United awards that we'd already splashed out £20m on Diouf, Smalling and Hernandez. That might be this year's budget already spent, though I suppose Fergie might raise some funds by selling the likes of Carrick, Berbatov and Foster.

i don't get this article. It is suggesting Sir Alex is throwing support behind the green & gold movement, which he says he is not. Why the need for such small actions?

I say again, the best and only way the RK will get full backing is that they show their hands to all of us, not fan the flames with little actions like this.

Can anyone tell me why the RK are not showing their hand? Do they have something to hide? Do we want to be like Liverpool fans, who supported their takeover until it was done, only to find out they were screwed? MUST should know that once the plans are shown, fans will take their stance and throw their support, why keeping everything secret? Why content with 50% support when they can get 100% with a good takeover plan?

Something just don't add up

What else could Sir Alex do in the circumstances, when asked by a fan to sign something.Show his total horror, smack the fan in the face, or just politely sign the scarf as he did clearly.
Dont forget he is the captain of the helm, he wants all supporters of all "faiths" to continue to follow and buy into the Manchester United dream and season ticket renewals!
It would be suicidal for him to have ignored the request, read no more into that and no less.

I read nothing into SAF signing a fans scarf !!! Our club to the yanks is a cash cow covering debts in their other activities . They will not be ousted that easily !

Big fucking deal.
As much as I want Glazers out, rather it's them in power than The Red Knights.
Funny how RK's are planning on keeping the bond issue!
I see there are plenty of leachers making good money out of selling a scarf that cost 90p to make.
Why don't the Knights distribute thousands for free outside the ground on match day. It would be a good coup for them.
What the club needs is a Sheikh in charge, not 50 odd small time millionaires who will be borrowing money themselves to get involved.

For the record it was not me who said that, it was redscot. Nor do I share that opinion. Fergie could very easily have just ignored the fan, especially as the Glazers have allegedly forbidden staff from even so much as commenting on the g&g protests. At the very least, this video shows exactly what Fergie thinks of that particular mandate.

@ Fred look mate I dont want to argue about the Glazer, what I will say if he ignored the Fan, and the media visual see that, what does that say! its not complex.He is a smart man he has to keep everyone on side, its not fucking rocket science.

I love Fergie and I have always trusted him, in his footballing judgement. However I think he is also to blame for our failure to win a major trophy this season. He tweaks with the team too much. Not many fans could actually name their favourite first eleven; and even though they could, most would be in disagreement. We don't have a standard best starting line up this season; where as we did two or three years ago. I think Fergie should try and establish a devastating first eleven and a few subs; and then trim the squad to compliment that. None of our old guard should be considered a key player, although they should be brought in whenever it suits the needs of the team best.
The rotation thing may help to keep players fresh, however, it probably also prevents them from reaching their peaks because they never get consistent runs.

Nothing more than pure coincidence, Ferguson cannot publically condem the Glazers there are his bosses and they pay his wages and give him the transfer kitty but I know, as fans, Sir Alex is on our side.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Glazers missed the signing of the scarf on TV on his way to the dug out and manage to get a picture that the green and gold put out. Fergie gets the sack. Look I'm all in favour of freedom of speech but the people dealing with this green and gold campaign should have some common sense. Let the organ grinder do the thinking and tell the fucking monkeys to sit on their perches.

What you quoted was before the takeover, pretty lame at that. I am not pretending to be stupid, more like you pretending to be smart. As I mentioned, if the RK & MUST can save us, fair, try it, but do it the trim and proper way, don't try to stroke the flames by doing this kind of small actions. Signing a scarf does not mean anything at all, don't try to make it that Sir Alex is supporting them. If the RK are true, show themselves, stop being so mysterious, what's so shameful about supporting United that they cannot even show themselves?

The fact is that RK is a fantasy, and a disaster waiting to happen, until proven otherwise.

the point is its not concrete..u can say whatever u want in this matter. Sir Alex has not (yet) declares his support for the RK..see, i love this club as much as u and the rest of the world but dont u think by simply kicking the glazers from the club will solve all the problem?

there are only 2 outcome if the takeover is successful;
1)the club pretty much unaffected
2)the club will follow the footstep of the dippers and the leeds scum
