pritch the red, if the linesman gives offside against drogba, would you be happy with the squad??
if robben doesn't score that goal and we go on to a 3rd final, are you happy with our squad, who should we buy in your opinion? sniejder? do you remember 1996, "you cant win the premier league with kids"? granted gibson looks wooden atm but he's 22, how good was scholes at 22? or keane? dont be so down beat mate, we've got alot of good yougsters comin through, matty james looks excellent, kiko is still only 18, pogba looks to be quality, correy evans, chris smalling hernandez diouf. These players will learn so much of scholes giggs rednev and even rooney, just as our 90s kids did of eric, believe in fergie mate hes a clever guy, hes got the best outta nani, he'll get the best outa anderson(still only 21) he just craves success and thats why i believe the league will be ours again this year,
we want our trophy back!!!!!!!!

I am sure that at when he was 22, pritch the red was wondering if fucking Darren Fletcher was a United player.

Tough to say. I don't have a sentimental favorite. I don't like either team, lol. Spain have an advantage because of their midfield I feel. However if they struggle to score again(something that few people have noticed by now), they they are leaving themselves open to players like Robben or Sneidjer sneaking one past them. What has surprised me is how quiet Van Persie has been so far. Maybe we will see a goal from him tonight.

You mentioned Kuyt. Isn't it funny how Arsenal, Citeh and Liverpool have representatives on both sides, but the top two teams in the country don't?

i suppose it is in a way, 1st time in 80 years a ciddy player played in the final, and one of these hasn't seen the ground yet, and i suppose the same could be said of some of our players in the last 20 years never to have played in a world cup, in fact you could prabably make a pretty decent xi out of them, cantona cole yorke giggs kanchelskis, keane(unless he ws in the 94 squad) brown bruce pallister, hughes, maybe struggle for a keeper mind,

Keane was in the 94 WC. No one could have imagined at the time that it would be his last. United players rarely enjoy plenty of success at WC tournaments. Can't remember the last time we had a player in the final.

As far as keepers, you could say that Taibi never played in a World Cup. :D

The closest we came was 2006 when Silvestre and Saha were in the France squad, but neither of them kicked a ball in the final.

Sneijder's relatives might want him to join United, but we don't want, or can't afford him.

arr of course,, well remembered, this sneijder rumour seems to be pickin up, i think he'd be a top signing personally, but i dont think we need to much more, defo think we have enough comin through, buyin benzema now would be a mistake as we have plenty up front, any way if we're intrested chances are city will buy him, possibly to replace the whore.
maybe a bid for shawcross would be good, hes only 22 and would create a great base with johny and be an ideal replacement for vida when the day does come for him to move on, fuck signing cahill at 25 million he not that good

Great Points Mate, but remember Scholes was a 20y old Forward when he came into the 11 alongside King Cantona and King Cole and he scored "quite" a few beauties before he went into central midfield too. Gibson definitely has potential, in big games he's already done a soild defensive role, as well as get forward - And he did it at first time of asking. Im sure he'd be an even better player for his age if he was playing regular first team at 20 alongside legends like Scholes was. Your right tho our new batch are running on a different time scale mate lol. Nani has already graduated. Gibson and Anderson and Obertan are next up for me, and I expect at least ONE of them to match the Season long consistency of Fletcher and Valencia (for example). so this Season looks promising mate. Don't forget the Academy lot coming up after. United are in good shape, we've got it covered.

thanks mr parker, i dont like all the negitivity knocking about at the moment, i strongly believe we have money if its needed, but is it needed, i'd say not,we've lost players before and never replaced them really, recent examples, beckham out ronaldo in, ruud out no one in, keane out no one, ronaldo out valencia in, losing giggs and scholes will be bad losses but fergies phylosophy(spelling??) of no one player is bigger than the team will be detrimental in future success long after these 2 greats have hung up their boots
