I also liked it when Rooney kissed the badge. Not because I fell in love with him again, but because I knew that StR was boiling inside at that moment. :)

Should have turned the screw in the second half, but dumping them out of the cup was the main thing.

Good day to be Red. 8) Welcome back, Scholesy! :D

Interesting stat:

After coming on after 60 mins, Paul Scholes made 71 passes (97% complete), more than any Man City player in the entire game.

Football365 has this picture posted erroneously labeled as "Aguero's goal sparked the now famous Poznan, as the City fans roared their side on to what they hoped would be a dramatic turn around." Even though the red shirts are easy to see under the coats.

One on the worst aspects of this weekend, reading the ridicule of Sir Alex Ferguson on forums like Red flag fying High , the ' Faithful' give me a break. Even an blogger like Tom Addison of the 'Truly Reds'.
On the 'Faithful' limply falling in line. Under Tom Pattison, dont make me laugh. You are faithful to yourself. Perch , look up.

Agreeing Sir Alex is a liar and should be dismissed. Do fuck off.
Now say he is an old ' cunt' and passed his sell bye date.
What a fantastic win, against a club that have spent a mere 1/2 Billion pounds to be where they are.
3 points ahead of United, knocked out of the Fa cup bye whom. Yes Sir Alexs United.
He is my hero and he will always be, know's much more than you.Acknowledge your betters. An stay of football manager.
I am as happy as a rag in shite. We won and my points were proven on the 'Un faithfail' he is better and more knowlegable than you me or any ' cunting' blogger that the ' Faithful' took disagreement with.
Support United.

Would have really liked to have stuffed those bastards yesterday in the second half - we really missed an opportunity to stamp our authority on the title race

a 5-0 or a 6-0 would have razed their confidence to the ground. I also didnt particularly like the substitutions - taking our foot off the pedal by taking off Nani who was tormenting them down the left - the message gets passed on to the players seeing substitutions like that, that we're happy to just hang on rather than go for the kill.

Great to see Scholesy back. My favourite player ever and was just an honour to see him back, if only for a few more months - just tells you that our midfield isn't good enough that we're having to bring players out of retirement...We need re-inforcements in midfield and the money just isnt there it seems...

I love Chris Smalling. It was great to see him back. He just brings so much more calm at CB than Jones, who is more suited to attacking roles atm I'm afraid with his buccaneering runs mentality. Smalling never gave Aguero a chance today except for the second goal, where he should have been a bit tighter, but I think he slipped in that instance...

The solution to bring schole out of retirement,is a shame to the club of Man United statu when the market is active.

Willie, Costas Mates, I'd love to hear you views on the ginger prince coming back.

I mean off course he's welcome, six more months of scholes is brilliant but what does it tell you when we have to rely on two 37-38 year olds in Central midfield?

Fred must be rubbing his hands to have a go at the Glazernomics as well..
