@Theredderdevil

Thanks for the link. Can't believe we even needed that in this day and age to illustrate what a horrific tragedy it was.

Unfortunately, haven't been on ROM as much since last season. Like Dela, I enjoy reading posts that don't just complain constantly. I went to the game for the first time at Old Trafford and reading this blog for years made it that much more enjoyable!! The scoreline didn't show United thrashing WBA but the players worked their socks off!! Vidic was a wall. Evans, who got constant grief 2 years ago, was everywhere and threw his body and face in front of the ball all day. Kagawa was so calm, looked like he was in a training session when making a quick one touch passes. I saw players tracking back all game. Foster made 4 saves that should've been goals bc he has an axe to grind about failing at United. Otherwise the game would have been a blow out. WBA had the one hit the cross bar but never really threatened accept on set pieces like the 2 at the half the ref gifted them. Overall I thought they played well and took an easy three points. I'm thrilled that I got to see RVP and Scholes- two undisputed legends play!! Going to the museum and stadium tour to learn even more about a team I'm lucky to support. Also @fibes thx for the link to answer my question before the game

Great Points above.... But, I will still pick Welbeck over hernandez any day of the week in respective of the opposition.
Are you seriously telling me that Welbecks have a lot of dribbling skills and movements in and around the box? Well, I have not been seeing those skills. All I see is a striker who needs to massively improve to become a united player .... I won't be bias cuz he is English or a Manc......

Ryan .. I didn't crticise him, so get off your high horse. I just said I wasn't in favour of it, because it was a purely private message of no significance to anyone except himself and a small circle of his private acquantiances, and as such I felt he should have kept it to himself. I didn't slag him off, nothing like that. And as for him having just scored a goal: first, it wasn't the winner (as you claimed) because the score was already 1-0, so we would have won whether he scored or not; and second, it's got nothing to do with whether I'm entitled to express my opinion or not.

Well, it looks like there's a lot of confusions here.
I know nothing about footbal and that is not my point here.
Just to clarify:
TCHUNA is a 'guy' from the Cape Verde Islands who grew up in Rotterdam since his young age.
He was a extremelly known and popular hairdresser in that city and happens to be a good and close friend of RVP and his family.
TCHUNA passed away from cancer and he was relatevely young.
Having said that, shall we all show some respect and compassion as RVP did on the pitch.
As a Cape-verdfean citizen and also TCHUNA's friend I found RVP more then a great player a humanist who honours even his 'unknown' friends to the world.
That shows true friendship, honour and deep respect for human being\friends regardless of status, money or origins.
RVP my Respect for your unmesurable gesture...and YES R.I.P TCHUNA WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU...

Den
I think you got me wrong fella. I didnt call the Indian girl a tramp. That was a completely unrelated comment and if I made it sound like they were some way related then Im sorry for that one. Just like the penguin wasnt the linesman.
It was a rant on why everyone has to allign themselves with a bad thisng that happens in the world and then with insensitivity have to hijack another persons grief for an unrelated subject just so they can sell their stance and feelings on the matter. It was to highlight the fact that IF you really cared that much then you would have found out the name of the girl you cared about so much and realised it wasnt Tchuna - hardly a hindi name is it.
I found their hijacking of the question (who was Tchuna) completely tasteless, I mean you wouldnt go to someones elses funeral and break the news to the congregation there that you had cancer and try and srum up sympathy.

United Till I Die & King Eric, brilliant posts.

We need more fans like you instead of unrealistic and ignorant ones who are unreasonably demanding. Like 1 fan posted, RVP wasn't this effective in his early career at the arse and I'm absolutely sure if he had been playing for us then, these very people (who are jumping on the bandwagon praising him) would've been calling for his head like they do with Welbs. Sickening!!!

Oh yes, and look at how we treated Gibson!! Now, I believe that he's doing more than a decent job for Everton. In fact, he's crucial to Everton.
