Re: This picture was on 2 Good part of MOTD. Its a bit much, I wouldn't do it myself personally but then again I haven't played football with the same guy for over 20 years. G Nev and Scholsey are like brothers. Therefore nothing wrong with that. What would be wrong if it was Tevez and Adebayor that would be disgusting.

@Damu

Liverpool are a fucking joke - they spout all that bullshit about Shankly - his power - his influence - yet there supporters are fucking with the idea to throw a match in order for us not to win a 19th title - I loved one comment which said it doesn't matter anyway - Liverpool will get to 20 titles before we do...

Which planet are they on?

The same one everyone else was last week

This isn't over - we have won nothing but so far have lost nothing either - buckle up then

This is going to be a mother of all rides...

I've heard rumours saying that the dippers are going to put their 2nd team when they're playing the rentboyz. The reason is to give some 'rest' to their best players ahead of the europa cup final.

Firstly, i never thought a football team can be this low as they even consider about throwing a football match just to stop us from winning the league, and let rentboyz walkaway with it. This is football at it's new low. Typical low class minded football team. I just know how desperate they are to not letting us winning our 4th consecutive and eventually our 19th. These dippers rather finish, say 8th ? than fight for a match of football. By the look at it, they even would be gladly to let David Moyes FC finish above them, typical dippers.

Second, if im not mistaken, even if the dippers do make it to the europa final, the match will be a week and a half after they play the rentboyz. So if they're afraid of injuries and fatigue, they might as well just throw away their last league match against hull. And yeah, save your players for the world cup too, cause they are gonna be tired and fatigue will play their part. Footballers are paid to rest, not to play football match innit ?

I'm not desperate for the dippers to beat the rentboyz, as the title is still in the bluemorons hands. They're still gonna win the title as long as they win their last remaining matches. But its just sad to see how a team like LFC would throw a match without a fight, just to prevent us winning the league. Spectacularly amazing. I am now hoping for Stoke to do a Wigan, and Wigan to do a Wigan. Please do fight for the sake your own club. Whatever happens in May, with all the injuries we had and have been having, all the referee decisions that went against us, I am proud to say that MUFC is by far the best team this season.
WE"LL KEEP THE RED FLAG FLYING HIGH, CAUSE MAN.UTD WILL NEVER DIE !

Schmuck - that is propably true, and I will stand by my comments liverpool will throw in the towel by laying down and die for chelsea and they will throw the game to not help united win the league, but it still all depends on what united do first in their remaining 3 games because they are tough ones.

We shall see. I wonder what the FA will do if Liverpool do actually put their reserver team against Chelsea. They did fine Wolves right? And that was at the beginning of the season, while now much more is at stake. If the Wolves fine was indeed a warning to other clubs, will the FA move on Liverpool if they do the same thing?

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/james-lawton-eternal-scholes-gives-united-kiss-of-life-1948237.html

Don't know if someone's already posted this link in the earlier comments above but this is a great read about Scholesy - especially the portion below.

"When Scholes was a mere 32, Charlton declared: "Watching Alex Ferguson build so many great teams has given us the chance to see so many great players like Roy Keane and Eric Cantona and Ryan Giggs, but I have to admit my favourite has always been Paul Scholes.

"I love his football intelligence and his conviction that he will always find a way to win. The more I have watched him the more I have felt, 'This boy is Manchester United through and through'. He's always on the ball, always turning on goal, always trying to bring other people into the action and if he ever loses the ball you have to suspect he is ill.

"I'm always disappointed when I don't see his name on the team sheet. His absence makes me feel despondent. I wonder who is going to do all that clever stuff that cuts up a defence."

You wonder, also, who will fight so hard to keep football at the centre of his life, who will most doggedly resist the temptations of the fast lane and the lure of mere celebrity over rock-hard achievement, and who, at an age when most leading players are consigned to the margins of the big league, will raise his fist to the heavens and say that maybe he has one great performance left. "

Paul Scholes. He scores goals!!

Dzeko is a good player, i have seen him for 20-25 games now and he will make it at United if we want him. He has all the attributes to be the perfect foil for wazza.

The youtube clips can be deceiving but this lad is class and he is just 24.

@ghtt

because everyone knows its rubbish. The stupid thing is the press make the same stories again and again. SAF said a few days back he will carry on for 2-3 years more and yet this story comes out again. We all know rooney will not leave United and yet they continue linking him with Madrid. They need to imagine better and come up with something new rather than the same crap over and over again

Granted that you can't believe every press report. But in the case of Sir Alex's eventual retirement, don't wait for Sir Alex to announce it beforehand, especially after what happened last time.

@arjic

I am sure SAF has names in mind but between now and then a can change which may lead to him reviewing the situation and assessing things in a different way. Form example it could happen SAF wants jose to suceed him but he moves to madrid next year and is unavailable. SAF has said he will continue for 2-3 years so the press can wait for sometime and concentrate on football especially after such a great week rather than talkiing about this now
