We've recently seen the inauguration of the new Labour Leader at the Labour Party Conference in Manchester. And its comforting to know the Leader of the Labour Party has resorted to Sir Alex maybe for some advise.

What a hoot, he looks young enough to be a signing but he aspires to lead a country. If we'd had one leader with SAF's ability since the middle of C20th maybe we wouldnt be up to our nostrils in the brown stuff.

So, son, how about this? See how much money the government rakes in from football, but look broadly, look at the taxes on transfers, vat on mechanize, all that good stuff, and then decide it's worth looking after. If you need to nationalise the game to get back the foreign owned assets, then do so; put a professional management in the FA and get rid of the useless, clueless, time-servers and the sycophants that cling on to petty functions. Put legislation down that sets maximums on the shares a person or entity can own; requirements that fans voices are more than canned atmospherics behind the televised games, maybe also consider ways to dissuade the police from treating the paying guests at games like so much cattle to be herded. Have a transparent disciplinary procedure too. Consider transgressors as more than a handy extra revenue stream and start deducting points as a way of gaining credibility for codes of conduct. Have a mechanism for the new FA to take control of a failing club so we don't have century-old institutions driven off the cliff by chairman's egos.

That'll do for starters I think but maybe have a word with the schools about ways we can build and manage a talent pipeline. It's absurd to assume that our kids are genetically disposed to be inferior
players so something is getting fucked up here that's not getting fucked up elsewhere. Find it and fix it.

Anything else? Maybe limit the number of times a team can win the league and CL so Laverpool can cling to the past like some botoxed hollywood slapper. Introduce a new trophy and let city buy it once a year. Send Leeds back to the 3rd division (and don't rename it to sound like it isn't a shit division to wallow in). Stop old lags, crap managers, and biased-fucks from getting gigs as match commentators.

I'll give you some more later but get started on this, ok?

Its well known SAF is a staunch unionist and veers to the left just like 'Red' Ed.Its a good photo shoot for the new leader to be pictured beside our very own leader

He was there because his PR machine told him that it would be good for his image.
So he looks like he is in touch with the community and therefore we have more in common with him.
I let SAF decide on football matters. I make my own decisions on who to vote for in the general election.
New Labour is dead. Thank God.
