Nike not United say who is in the pictures, they also sponsor Rooney so I wouldn't read too much into that.

NBI, interesting? So Nani, a very popular player in Portugal and Brazil, is not requested, and Lindegard and Buttner are specifically requested. Struggling with that one. ;)

Cheers mate. Sure they wouldn't have a player if the club told them to hold off. Heard there were some refunds requested after Tevez buggered off though. Imagine there is no perfect system to be fair.

not a surprise. But these stupid rumours linking our players with transfers and thee ABU making the msot of it, especially with Chicha, who never looked he's unhappy.

of course he would like to play more and probably would score the double the amount of goals, yes he would fade in some games, but that's why we're a team and at that moment other players should raise the game. Anyway, Chicha a great man and a player!

Henderson and bald headed drunking thug with a map drawn on his head like a cunt aka jonjo shelvey against the brilliant marco verratti.. You have got to be joking me.. Chalobah and Josh McEachran would have done far better.. placed zaha on the bench too, the tactically brilliant pearcey .

Henderson at 20million will surely rank amongst the annual joke transfers dvd. The media hyped him up and tried to push him to united, fergie wasn't having any of it. All energy and running, hasn't got a specific role he excels at, a player that does everything but clearly a master of fuck all..

That team photo is a fake. It's not just Smalling's head. Tom has never worn wrist bands. For some reason they put his head on Hernandez's body.

Well aren't we the current Under 21 Champions and how come no English player is in England under 21 ( except Zaha who was technically not with us )
No Powell , Cole , Lingard , Keane , Tunni , Thorpe ?

Ys - you'd be suprised if pearce even recognises those players. Powell is recovering from injury but you could argue that at least larnell cole, keane and lingard could easily get into that team based on their technical ability, I guess maybe they are seen as not fully ready, some of them might be ready for a loan spell or at least be given roles in the cup games. I still doubt pearce is tactically adept at getting the best out of technical players. He's best at the so called passionate screaming "get in there you fucking bastard" role.

Costas. Ah well spotted mate regards Tom's wristbands!

Ys. Exactly why the fuck aren't some of those you mentioned featuring for Ingerlund?

Samuel. Ha Henderson is fucking dreadful isn't he. Although 3 years back I'm afraid to admit I quite rated him. He looked ok as a kid. Says it all when him and Tom were playing together and now the latter is a regular starter for main side. Had to laugh, it took that Abu cunt Tyler about ten minutes to actually realise the goal was disallowed! Is he out there commentating? Take it no as even I could see Italy got the free kick.

Actually excited about the rumors linking us with midfielders. And we have a couple of youngsters who might be phased into the first team. Hope Powell comes out of his injury well recovered. We have a fantastic attack and Vidic might be injury prone but together with Ferdinand and the upcoming youngsters our defense has a quiet assuredness that De Gea has become a part of. Injuries look to have eased up as well. It was the midfield that we kept surrendering in those roller coaster games last season. And if Carrick has a reliable partner next to him and a promising understudy, we really could make a push for Europe, our attack really is that good. Kagawa should help us compete on the continent. A winger is a concern because if we are losing Nani then we need another technician who can be a threat on the flanks. Add some energy to that center and we are contenders. Looking at Bayern that was their standout characteristic. And we are familiar with Bayerns blueprint vs Barcelona who play a style that can't really be imitated until it is ingrained from the academy up. Just hope Moyes is able to hit the ground running.

King Eric - He'd looked ok at sunderland, even score a couple of goals but he was never bound for the top level, the problem with him is he isn't good at one role, he's a master of nothing. Give him credit for work rate but you get found against top players with the same work ethic added with superior technique, i can't tag him as a slow developer either. Liverpool were imitating santa that transfer window weren't they?, 75 mill on two donkeys, a slice of that on a pony-tailed rugby player. Brilliant.

On tyler, let's just say he'd have seen everything clearly if it was united.

@ Fletch - hi mate, hopefully Nani is on the Portugal adverstising....! But more than Rooney I would like to know what is happening to him. Ronnie and he don't get on, if he is coming I doubt Nani will stay. But it is sad that it has ended like this from him being player of the year at United a little while ago.

I enjoyed watching Nani, inconsistencies and all, I will miss him, its a sad exit if this is the end, how long has he been here, 6/7 years and he has had moments of complete brilliance, had it not been for his injuries and his contract wrangling I think he would be in, I feel sorry for the guy.

Ha a pony tailed rugby player. Nice one. Oh Dogleash took the piss with his signings. Did he buy Downing too? Yes master of none is Henderson. Amused me how he tried the Ronnie style free kick the shit bastard. He has never kicked on since Sunderland. Gibson is better. Yes Tyler would have noticed every detail had it been United the snide prick. Always throwing Aguero goal in and Van Persie's "deflected" free kick at the bitters. Funnily enough back in the day he was ok when commentating on United. Last few years he's been unbearable. Always "Alec" too. Cunt. Bring back Brian Moore and Barry Davies.

NBI Cheers. Tongue in cheek comments on the video. They had Tevez in and he buggered off.

But seriously. Can't stand the crap.
Ronaldo and Garay, both have the same agent and both get linked with United every time they want a new contract. Both stories appear in AS or Record with no quotes and no evidence. Don't believe either one.

Don't think there is anything in the Strootman rumors either. Agent and player have both denied any contact.

King Eric, You watch that U21 game? Like lambs to the slaughter. Youngest team at the tournament. Played one lad who has never played at this level. And v Italy! 5 time winners of the tournament. FA and country don't understand that you build a winning attitude by WINNING. Every other team is stocked with the max of overage players and seasoned pros.

Welbeck and Wilshire should both be there. Couple hardened defenders as well.

Tale of 2 free kicks. Italy wall jumped, job done. Engand wall, What? No one told them to jump innit!
Pathetic. I blame the FA.
Pearce? Ya, that sums it up.

Italy have no such problems. Tell the youngsters they play and win in Jr tournaments and then, maybe, they make the senior squad. Entire culture needs changing.

Waste of space is all England are, top to bottom.

I hated the shirt in the leaked photos we have seen for months but it looks much better on the players and I suspect as always it will look even better in reality. After all I ended up liking this seasons even though it looked awful in the leaked photos of it on a manaquin and not much better in the the marketing shots

RE: England U21
Most of the players mentioned just don't have the first team games in general to be considerd. Performing in the U21 league just isn't good enough because the league isn't strong enough to be a decent indication of their true quality.

What is really needed is are B sides for Premier League sides in the Football league. Go back to 4 football league divisions with 5 PL B sides in each (The previous seasons top 5 in Championship, Next 5 in League 1, Next 5 in League 2 and final 5 in League 3). The B sides get a league position based on results BUT can't be crowned champions, can be promoted, be in playoffs or be religated (if B side wins the league then the 2nd place team is crowned Champions and same for other promotion/Religation issues as the B side games are just Bonus matches)

Would give the U21/u18 access to better level of games, would guarantee them games which the loan system doesn't (The reason they aren't involved in the PL first team is usually the same reason they will often only be used sparingly or as sub on loan), ensures they are learning in a country whe the style is suitable (They may get more games on loan abroad but playing in a differnt style of football doesn't always help) and it ensures that they are playing under the same training and playing philopshies as the parent club which isn't always the case with loans.

It may even help thr finances for the FL teams as they would have 5 home games against PL B sides which may be more appealing than some of their league matches especially If you allow the B sides to name a few over age players like the U21 league does for bringing players back to fitness. You would probally also want to put rules requiring a certain amount of players eligible to play for a Home Nation into the mix for the B sides to prevent teams filling their youth setups with imported players and hardly any locals

Additionally as some teams would find they lose their place in the higher league to make way for the B sides the PL and clubs could increase payments to the FL to be distributed amongst the clubs .

As the B sides obviously wouldn't be able to play in the cups and the fact tgat the non-PL teams woukd need somewhere for their u21s to play in the u21 league could also be kept but made smaller with fewer group games so it was more like the CL setup perhaps even keeping the league portion localised to keep the costs down.

Suspect if teams had the ability to be in greater control of giving their player important first team action we would see more making the jump into the first team quicker as its usually needing to get physically stronger by playing against older players who are physically stronger and more expsrianced that holds them back. Also would add further incentives to the league position as it wouldn't be just a a few million an extra place higher up the table would give you, it would mean a higher quality league for the B side next season with a greater challenge and more learning potential

Watched the U21, it was eerily similar to the Brazil/ any England match, outplayed technically, but were dangerous from set plays; I thought they were extremely unlucky for their disallowed goal and that lost them the game.

Henderson's actually had a good season for Liverpool, and he is a regular starter for Liverpool, 30 league games, more than Cleverley's 22 @ King Eric; I'd be unsurprised if there was some unfair bias against him here, played okay but overrun, i was surprised at how good his free kick was in injury time.

Sordell's terrible, Robinson was like a frightened deer in headlights, is Shaw injured? Clyne being out of position started the non-penalty move and gave away the winning free kick.

Wickham shows everything wrong with England youth football, Big and Strong but terrible technically; At one point, a cross came in, it just hit his shin, rolled out for a goalkick.

Butler looked like a real clown at times aswell.

Not at all interested in internationals but was listening to talksport and Pearce wanted to play the lads who got them there instead of playing the strongest side and overage players.Seems stupid to me I bet no other country takes that attitude, losers are losers no one looks back and reflects on Pearce doing the right thing.England should be fielding the strongest side possible, anyway whatever just seemed naïve and stupid to me and doesn't do anyone any good
I guess England still have a chance but not really the point any team should field the strongest team possible when it matters otherwise the manager is letting the fans down,he should be fired for that and in the Prem would be fined for not playing his best 11

Henderson starting more is no indication of quality is no indication of quality. He's an average workhorse, nothing to do with "bias". He's just not good enough technically, especially against top players. He didn't get "overrun", he was simply out-played and out-witted by the clever italians. It's not much help if you have jonjo bloody shelvey alongside you but it also doesn't help when you lack in quality yourself.

Pearce likes players like henderson, those cloggers that will put a shift in but "shifts" do not win tournaments quality do and until england as a set up realise you cannot be picking cloggers over technical players, they will continue to be failures. They also have this inability to pick the strongest line up, the best team and not the best players, they'll stack steven gerrard alongside lampard when clearly both aren't effective in the team but hey, someone has to sell the bloody shirts. "suprised as to how good his free kick was", I think henderson must be he new zico.

No way Rooney is sold for under 45-50m in my view. Don't think anyone at the club, or Rooney himself really want to see him go.

Rooney is a top top player. His temprament is always just a bit of an issue for a squad system team. Bit better than Tevez but similar issue. These lads just don't have a B setting. Always ON. Also similar to Tevez, Rooney has a complete nutter of an agent. Neither Stretford, or the Mrs Roo, have any love for United and make no mistake.

I don't think there is another player in the country quite like Rooney, maybe the world. Certainly not that we will see in the next 2-3 years at this club. Kagawa will never deliver what Rooney has.
15+goals played out of position and infrequently. Ya baby, Wayne Rooney IS all that.

My feeling is that, David Moyes will come in and want to solve problems. SAF, bless him, didn't mind creating a few. Hopefully, Moyes can solve this calculus and get another couple years out of Rooney.

Talk of Rooney and Ronaldo to PSG will not get Rooney excited. Those 2 hate each other. In my view, Rooney didn't play all that well when Ronaldo was on the pitch. Obviously created some moments of magic together, but you could tell there was friction.

How can we be happy selling Nani, one of our most technically gifted if not inconsistant players, when we have Ashley Young?
As much as Nani is inconsistant, Young is consistantly shite. Young had a few good games and the boy thinks he has made it. If it was a straight choice out of the two how can we let go of Nani?

As for Rooney I think it's time for him to move but only for the right price, and most definately not to another English club. Do we really want Rooney to become the clubs all time top goal scorer when he has put x2 transfer requests in and also said the club do not match his ambitions. Then we sign RVP and Kags and he still wants to leave. No way should the highest paid player at United not be fit for the start of the season. Drops in form, yes, because he is played out of postion, but being unfit? Can't stand that.

In relation to the midfielders I'd be happy to see a fair few changes to really freshen things up. I think it's all gone a bit stagnant in the midfield area with a lack of competition. With Scholes retiring and who knows when Fletch will be back, we might have a few problems.

Bring in Strootman and Alcantara. If Ronnie wants to come back then bring him in. Even if it's just to prove a point that when you leave United there is nowhere to go. Nowhere where you will receive the same rapport with the fans and the support from the football club.

Alpha,
Cheers son. Completely agree about Nani, think fitness was the big issue. But he might be in that category of player who goes to mix the pot, not just because he isn't good enough.

Young is a question? Hahaha, where did he come from!

Don't think Rooney will go. Don't think anyone will pay enough to replace his tallent. Real problem for Rooney is Stretford and his wife. You have to feel sorry for the boy. My opinion. Seriously though, Moyes could be the best thing that ever happened to Rooney. No one will pay what United want, that's my view. Maybe IF he sets the world alight at the WC. But that would be a good time to part anyway as he will comeback completely knackered as they always do.

We all know now Rooney want's to play striker,I personally think he's going to be hard to move the amount of money he's on so it's not just as simple as don't sell unless there's a 50 mill offer, that isn't coming. Then what is Utd left with a unhappy player who won't sign a new contract and is worth less everyday the current one ticks down.If he's going to be unhappy unless playing in RVP's position don't see anything but headaches if he stays
Rooney is creating another shit scenario for the club all because of his ego so there goes another Rooney myth he'll play anywhere for the team, well apparently not

If Rooney stays and if we get that marquee signing in attack - (Ronaldo/Bale), I see us predominantly playing a 433 or a 4231 formation. If he stays, hope he gets his freaking act together in pre-season. I was so dissapointed seeing him in action at goodison park last season; he was incredibly unfit. If rooney pulls a rio and works hard in pre-season, it'll be like a new signing.
That said - Kagawa should play centrally and with the plethora of attacking options at our disposal - we wouldn't need a new world class CM, just someone good enough to allow us to transition play from defence to attack quickly. I think Nani will leave, giving zaha a chance to establish himself as a squad player this season.

The Garay rumors seem interesting - a good replacement for Ferdinand.
