Most of the south stand filled, I'd say it was just above 10,000, but not entirely sure. Owen's shooting was pretty poor but Rio's was incredible for a defender! I also enjoyed watching Sao Paulo, especially Lucas Leme who'll be a quality player in a few years.

As MU fans all over asia we feel that Fergi always favour his three old seniors players Giggs,Scholes,Gary N and refused to retire them now inorder to open up opportunities for the young talented players to gel into the first team. We feel that these senior players including the worst player all season John Oshea should either retire,sell off or play in the reserved team so as to pass on their experiences to the younger players.

ManU - Could NOT disagree more. Why would you want to sell a player who has just scored a hat trick in pre season albeit against weaker opposition. The man Giggsy still has a job to do. Have you forgotten about his winner away at West Ham or the goal up at Boro or the way he ran the midfield against the rentboys? John O shea played more games than anyone at United other than Vidic last season and is a great utility player. These lads also offer so much in the dressing room and are one of the reasons why United continue to win silverware. To want to "sell them off" as you put it is just unbelievable.

How anyone can think Sheasy was the worst player last season - Mmmmmm beggars belief! Sheasy, Johnny Evans and Gibbo, are Man United to the core, and very much 'the fightin Irish' who will always give everything in blood, sweat and tears for Man United.

Isaidso - I don't know mate but it fucks me off. You are right about Sheasy, Gibbo and Evans being the "fighting Irish ". Evans is going to be huge, for a 21 year old he looks so accomplished at Centre Half. The next Rio.

Agreed on Evans. I knew he had talent whilst he was at Sunderland. But he just looks so good no matter who partners him in defence. I hope the Da silva's and De Laat get better too. Some defence we will have. And the kids are all over the team, with Kiko and Wellbeck, and Gibbo and Cleverly. Then we have the foreign lads Ando, Nani, Petrucci, Tosic, Llajic etc. You just don't see this happen anywhere else other than Arsenal and maybe Everton. It's a credit to Fergie. When he came to OT he created a legacy of youth emrgerging and it continues.

O'Shea is united's new Mr Consistent. Him and Fletch were unbelievable last season. Nani and Ando etc can learn from them and their desire to fightfor their place and improve. At 22 people doubted them both and now look at them. Big season for Fletch this year. I guess that too many people listen to the media who link United with selling so-called "weak links" for Aguerro and Ribery, lol. As we know the media talk crap. They didn't see the signings we made coming, apart from Valencia which United never tried to hide from. When the papers talk about the unfashionable lads leaving then people get on their backs for mistakes. Yes, O'Shea makes them, but just like Rio and Vida (vs Torres etc) they make up for them in the match and the season. O'shea plays with heart and a smile. Money can't buy that. Dressing rooms need people like O'shea never mind the pitch."Sell him off?" If Citeh wan't to offer 30+ mill then ok, otherwise I think we'll keep him! ;)
