Ahh thats more like it, a great day for our strikers! And I'm so glad Vidic is back, made such a difference to our backline much more assured and composed. I thought Wigan gave us a good game though as expected in the first half but we got thru it and our class was too much in the end! El Blanco for top scorer.

Moneesh - How do we need another central midfielder? Fletch, Carrick, Ando, Gibson, Scholes, Giggs. It is a myth that our midfield is weak.

I see where Moneesh is coming from in saying we need another centre mid, as they all do similar roles, maybe its true we need a goal scoring centre midfielder who does a slightly different job than the other predominantly defensive minded players.

Which is why I think Darron Gibson should play far more regularly. When he came on today, he had an eye for goal everytime he got the ball, and we all know he has a cracking shot on him. He is similar to Carrick, but I think he has the potential to be a far better player than Carrick. He can pass, he can shoot, he gets stuck in, hes got loads of stamina, hes fairly quick, he has good spacial awareness, and, hes a product of the United academy. Hes at least 6 years younger than Carrick, too.

Berba's celebration was the best, he went nuts. It looked like he was crying after he scored. His goal was great as well.

Owen scored the best goal. The tiniest gap to put it in and he dinks it with his weak foot post and in, after great build up by Berbs and Nanch.

What a Game.. what a 5 starr performance, whoever says Wigan were a weak disorganised team is completley wrong.. Wigan really gave it to us today but we showed our class & why we are THE CHAMPIONS.
Vidic/Evans partnership was superb Im really pleased with the young irish he is really the future for United. Nani/Evra's partnership is scary they were superb.. Valencia had an awesome outing this lad is starting to show how good he really is. Darren Fletcher was incredible today, he really is our holding midfielder he controls the ball superbly and he is going to be vital this season .
But to get all three strikers on the scoresheet was the highlight, wazza proved how amazing he can be.And WHAT a display for Berbatov all game his was silky and creative and that GOAL was superb the way he controlled it and scored show how amazing his quality really is. And finally OWEN what a goal could have totally fluffed it up.. but great pass from NANI and loved the goal celebration he really really loved that. Berba's goal celebration was by far the best he went C R A Z Y.

Great Performance 5 star..
Man of the match: Darren Fletcher
