I saw the Threads Costas that went to over 1000 posts and commented on them but like everyone's else they tend to slip into oblivion. Its great to see the Blog so popular though. That pleases me.

Oh fuck!! Didn't see your last comment. Disregard my last...erm.. statement then. Just like Rooney and Fergie, we'll make peace (it may be an uneasy peace that could crack at any moment, but peace nonetheless).

Couldn't agree with you more mate. Sweden is cold thanks for asking and i long to go back home, boo hoo.
In regards to your comments about a freudien slip you are wrong. Banging it in is neanderthal, its a knee trembler. A freudien slip is a thin lacy garment that barely covers the buttocks and bolox and looks like a painting smock. Incidently im wearing one now.

I have no doubt that had he intended to leave abroad, Fergie would not have bothered stopping him. But going to Shitty was another matter and as it proved in the end had to be stopped at all costs.

I will need a lot of convincing to forgive him, especially after that idiotic statement before an important match. For his own and fans sake I hope that he comes out clean. Sacking Paul fucking Stretford would be a good first step towards that.

its a disgrace what he has done for the club and for his teammates.
But Rooney will never be like garry neville or ryan giggs, who supported united in childhood. he supported everton as a child, but he came to united to win, but thats no the point.
we loved wayne from the first second, not because his relaltion to united but for his style to play.
he plays "attackattackattack" and "never give up" football, in united style. and he will do it again, for this type of playing i love him.
and i cant forgive him now or in next month, but i will shout his name in the satdium, because this helps him, the team and the whole squad to perform better.
Like sir alex say: he want us fans to stand behind every single member of this team, we have to attack now to win this 19th premier league title.
and what a story it will be at the end if wen win with wayne this title and more.

Spot on get a new agent, that has some integrity. Personally Xyth I just wanted the maxium amount of "Free" cash for him. He is totally off form, not been an Icon at the Club since his arrival.
He to me looks overweight, a yard slower than last season.
He should be a professional and act like one at all times.
I hope Sir Alex has had a word in his shell like and told him in no uncertain tems, be loyal to your wife and family and Manchester United

@RedScot

Just think how hollow the Steve Gerrard, Gerrard song is gonna sound now. He kisses the badge on his chest then puts in a transfer request...? F-n joke make. We're a laughing stock. Rooney and Mr Season ticket holder lifelong red Stretford have made us into a f-n laughing stock.

That BS Statement they put out on Wednesday, two hours before a European game, rubbished the players, rubbished the manager and rubbished the club and what was the punishment? A wage structure smashing pay rise. What a laugh. Are we desperate or are we Man U-f'n'ited? People talking about how this shows we can still compete? What Man Utd have to prove they can f'n compete with we're oh so f'n MASSIVE Man City? Is that what we're reduced to now? The same sort of small minded nonsense that Gary Cook and co come out with whenever they offer some journeyman a massive deal?

To try and use the fans hatred of Glazer to squeeze as much money out of the club as possible I'm afraid is disgusting. I'm guessing Glazer's alright now he's signed off your £180k a week salary then Wayne, eh?

What does this say to the dressing room? When Keano slated the side publicly he got moved on. Next year we added Carrick got told we were gonna be licking Chelsea's boots by Christmas and won the league. Thats Man Utd. We don't need to make statements. We're United, we're above it. When we're attacked we pull together, we go forward as one: United.

At least thats how it used to be...

Maybe I'm too old fashioned and I can't get used to football being all about money. But to me any lasting affection I ever had for Rooney is gone. I respect him he's a great player but thats it. Even if he spends his career here you know...this changes everything.

@ United4 eva. Exactly cant disagree with a word you write.
I cant particularly write in truth probably like you "maybe iam too old fashioned" other than from reading United books about the history of United. I just felt he corrupted what has been built through many many years.
I have read many books about Sir Matt as an example he would be horrified at this betrayal of the United way. Its disgusting in retrospect.
I agree I cant see him the same either. Honestly I aint no prude I defended him in a way through the hooker saga but the belittling his team mates and Sir Alex stunk.....fullstop.
Cheers mate great response

he's with with biggest club in the world, ok he dont belive they've got the same ambition as him and thats a problem. but most problems can be erased with the application of money. you dont say the shite he said and then change your mind over night, he's had it with utd anyone who thinks different is a mug if he left in theese circumstances utd would have been finished no big names would have joined, now fergus can get a decent fee for him. he's going to be sold, if not in january but in the summer, perhaps he changed his mind when real said no signings in january,

#3 for me... SAF said that ROoney has apologized to him and team and will do so to fans... but he never did say sorry to the fans. I suppose he feels entitled to throw whatever tantrum coated as assurances and what not to get a better contract. That's a bit sad. Wonder how much has this sad saga has earned him!

It is interesting though that Rooney refused to sign since August and everything has now blown out and was finalized so quickly in a few days. It probably indicates Rooney was always willing to sign... just wanted to get as much as possible. may be.

Anyway, now its over... or at least until Jan window who knows.

Now lets concentrate on football and the important game on Sunday.

i don't know... if it's all just a scam to get a payrise we've all worked at places where that happens... you have to look around to find out what you are worth. the players who stay put and say they are going to never get paid the best wages. the clubs always pay less to those that are already there especially if they think you love the club so much you won't leave. it's an opportunity for a club to take the piss and they've done exactly what keane had to do back in the day. don't get me wrong it's a stupid amount of money but the principle is the same... sooner or later united will have to pay an absolute fortune to somebody in wages to replace scholes or giggs otherwise they'll go to city or madrid and rooney didn't want to find himself further down the line with a second rate player earning more than him... after everybody saying he was in the top three players in april he would expect to paid at that level. the problem was that he and his agent are total cocks and fucked the strategy up by going public. once fergie spilt the beans it was all over.

At the end of the day he's still young, he has a f*cked up personal life, it all leads to rash decisions. If Rooney comes back from the brink of doom and gloom then good luck to him.

em after deep thinking about conspiracy theory, this is my idea:

1) SAF, Rooney n David Gill all agreed that the new offer fo Rooney (160k per week) is less than what Rooney deserves as the main player at the biggest club in the world.
2) But they also knew the *******(put whatever adjectives that you like) owners, will not agree to offer Rooney big money. So Rooney and SAF plans a drama.

Plot 1 of drama) SAF told the media that Rooney is injured.
Plot 2) Rooney contradicts SAF openly to create a situation.
Plot 3) SAF tells the world Rooney wants to leave and how it began from August 14th blah blah blah, the reason will come out from the player himself and he will sit down with David to sort this out as soon as possible. Hidden message to the Glazers: "David and I will decide, you have to agree"
Plot 4) Rooney tells the reason; the club lacks ambition which actually means the club is not doing what the club is supposed to do to achieve their big ambition. Hidden message to the Glazers: "Fans know you are not doing any good for the club". SAF even told the world later on that there is not a single thing wrong with this club: Stadium, facilities staff players and chairman all very good, SAD mentioned every important aspect EXCEPT the owners!
Plot 5) The Glazers have to agree!

This stunt can only be pulled off with the absolute trust between Rooney and Sir Alex. Rooney risked his career and fan-favour for this, because he trust SAF can sort this out.
Think about it, the picture that Scott posted two days before SAF tells the world that Rooney wanted to leave show no traces of discontent, or an unhappy lad.
All the top managers knew it would come to this: Mourinho, Ancelotti, Gerard Houllier, even Mancini. Maybe only Harry Redknapp was fooled. And Mourinho is using it to his benefit to show that he understands SAF and our club. Maybe SAF is behind this too, because he wants Mourinho to replace him. Wakakakakkakaka.

At the end of the day, the only loser are the Glazers.

One thing to consider for all the people saying he is worth the money he demanded and it appears got - this is reportedly £10 million a year, and other players are no doubt going to see this and be disgruntled and start demanding more themselves, and god forbid start behaving in a similar fashion.

The people who are saying he is worth it will be the ones clamouring for big name signatures in January or over the summer - just remember an extra £25 million over the 5 years as well as the £25 million he would have already been earning if the terms were the same is money that will now not be in the pot for new players.

Add to that the other wages that shoot up as a result, and the wage demands that any big name player we show an interest will demand after the precedent set by Rooney and mabe you will understand that is why there was a wage structure in place and accept that we don't have a billionaire oi;l sheikh at the helm so we need to be realisitc.

Also consider that when the ticket prices go up again.

Let's hope fergie and Judas Gill transferlists him today, we could really cash in now. I see the pattern from when ronny left, he signed a new deal weeks before he left right? If madrid or bankruptelona bids £70m or more i think we should get rid of the greedy, selfish, horny wayne. Follow me on twitter ;) @jontetk
