So leicester is first and Spurs are second, wow who would have expected that at the start of the season. I can easily see both of them finishing in top 4 , so one of Arsenal, City and United to miss out on top 4. Tomorrow is a must win and if we somehow pick 3 points, well I would put my money on United to be in top 4 and one from Arsenal and City missing out.

Ash I really can see City unravelling... Theyve been shit against top 6 all season and their away record this season is pants...

Yaya hates Guardiola... Their whole defence must be replaced too and have to be looking at pension day in China...

Pelegrini as nice as he is has accepted that its over.. He looked fucking ravaged today like a dog that needed to be put down... It was painful looking at him on the bench..

Lets face it, there are only maybe 2 players at City that are actually still motivated by pep arriving and thats Sterling and DeBruyne who I believe pep wanted... The rest dont give a fuck and wont for the rest of the season either...

In last years if one bottom team started well in PL and maybe was on 1st place, in the middle of the season, would go down...but Leicester refuse to go down. For me it s better if they win PL than any other...but than we are in dangerous to not get top 4. Tottenham is in good form, Arsenal i dont know, but it s hard to see Citeh miss at least 2nd place.
Hope Arsenal will lose, and we will win this and next games.
I m always worry are we going to win...then i m worry are those teams in front of us, will lose.
When SAF was here, i was only concerned when our opponents will lose. Now i have double worry :(

Yes I know Klopp wasn't there but still giong from 2-0 in 77 min to 2-2 is worth a laugh. Although I wish him a very good recovery but as long as he is a pool manager I will always bash him :)

Bonus today was that City's defeat. :D That too by a big margin 3-1. Leicester defeated them comfortably. Pep is going to get a fucked up - low confidence squad, lets see how he deals with it. He has faced nothing like this ever in his managerial career. ;)

Overall a very good day. But tomorrow's victory would be a real icing on the cake. Fingers crossed. My dear philosophical coach LVG please dont fuck up. Amen!!

How beautiful will be for pellegrini to loose top 4 as a parting gift for calling his bluff. So pep could really come and build.

that would be one glorious FU by pellegrini.

anyway am not surprised to see mourinho at Dortmund, he might take the job next season in Germany and stay there for quite a while. like I keep on saying, the man wants to build something.

You may be right about jose taking a job at germany but with Carlo gone to Bayern , which other club he could manage there. With all due respect , I dont see him managing a Bremen or Leverkusen. Dortmund are the next big thing but they have a unique style and I cant see them appointing Jose or even Jose playing a second fiddle to Carlo. When he went to Inter, Juventus were crap and AC milan were going on a downward spiral so that made sense but Dortmund, I have doubts. Unless of course, he wants to showcase he is the real boss by pipping Carlo in Bundesliga.

I dont know but I always feel Jose managing PSG . Last 1 week has made me feel , maybe he could manage us but still wont come to conclusion. I can see all this being a big smoke screen and LvG BEING REPLACED BY GIGGSY.

Warrored,
Great one!

To the rest,

" You only throw stones at trees which bear fruit " That's the reason why Man Utd are criticised.
" everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required " that's the reason why LVG is criticised.

Mourinho is a star signing who happens to be a manager. Because of his success, several fans will tune back in to watch and support us because under Moyes and LVG, we've lost a lot of fans and one things for sure we aren't getting any new fans at the minute. Mourinho changes that immediately with the fact that most players want to play for him. Pep is world class. Without Mourinho and with all the funds City can invest in the squad, it's possible Shitty win. The only two men in world football o would trust to throw a spanner in the works are Sir Alex and Mourinho. Mourinho has my blessing and was always my number 1 choice. Right now Mourinho is either supporting friends or scouting players first hand. Hes driven, determined and He's become even more a pro active manager. thank God he's been brought down a notch. It was very necessary.

I'm sure we're all gunning for Leicester or Spurs. Leicester winning it would be a slap on every top teams face. It's would be a clear indication that the league was there for the taking and LVG cocked up. I couldn't care less about the other teams and their managers.
A team and a manager I have alot of respect is Wenger. Arsenal have earned history and success, Shitty and Chelshit didn't. I didn't realise how successful Wenger was until I have experienced how unsuccessful Moyes and LVG are. It's true and slightly embarrassing that he's never defended the league, never won the champions league and hasn't won the premier league in a decade BUT he's constantly sold his best players, built a stadium, constantly qualified and competed in the champions league and had the audacity to go unbeaten.. Credit where it's due!

they for me can bugger off anf fuck off to support city or liverpool for what I care

these are the moments that define your level of supporter, there have been moments when we have had it worse and supporters have stayed, we had that spell of 3 years without a title whe nronaldo and rooney were young, people stayed.

those who leave can piss off from where they came. WE'll NEVER DIE!

buzzing for tomorrow.

Memphis------------------------------------------Lingard

The pace of the attacking trio would frighten the shit out of Chelsea's back line.
Rooney has a high work rate and good passing
Carrick read well, passes accurately both short and long range
Schneiderlin has the tackle, the tenacity and passes decently. Chelsea's deep midfielders are big and strong.
The back 5 picks itself.

Crazy but I see it working

I wont be too worried about losing fans. This is Manchester United we are talking about, people may hate us , like us but cannot ignore us. Fans no will be supporting Leicester but that doesnt mean they are bigger than Manchester United. It is not arrogance, it is juts fact. I was in Boston last fall and it was back then when Adidas launched United kits and I saw a humongous line of people wanting to purchase the jersey. I was talking to one of the employees of the store and he said Manchester United still attract more fans than Barca and Real. Manchester United is a brand , that cannot fade away because 2 or 3 poor seasons. Look at Liverpool, even after so many mediocre years they have followings andare pretty famous.

City can appoint whomsoever they want but it would take 2 decades of us performing shit and them dominating for them to be above us. Again nothing arrogant, just stating the truth. Without messi barca were never this famous, it only takes one or two amazing season and club like Manchester United will be regarded as the best again. My whole point being clubs liek Real madrid, Manchester United, Barca, Bayern wont lose the charm in overnight. No matter how many PSG'S CITY's or CHelsea's come they just cannot buy the passion and history that a United or Barca or Bayern have.

contrary to your statement above, I can see them appointing Jose and I can also see Jose taking the job. you already said it yourself "unless of course, he wants to showcase he is the real boss by pipping Carlo in the bundesliga" that's the point right there. the man loves a challenge, we all know that. Dortmund might not be lavishly rich like Bayern but they are very Okay financially. appointing someone like Jose might just change the dynamics of the bundesliga.

Why would Dortmund hire Mourinho, can they even afford him? Thomas Tuckel is having a splendid season and Dortmund have be explosive and are only second to the money machine @ Bayern.

why would Dortmund want to hire him? maybe they are tired of playing second fiddle to Bayern, maybe they want to attract better players in the market, maybe they can actually afford him, I really hope they can't though.

So, Liverpool supporters organised a protest against the ticket price hikes by leaving the stadium on the 77th minute, they must have been happy at that point, leading 2-0 and had 82% possession at half time

The joke being passed around is that the players left too, with their keeper leading them, lol

Dortmund are even below Liverpool in the money league, they maybe second yo Bayern in the Bundesliga, but they are several 0's behind Bayern. Not saying it can't happen, but I highly doubt it. Tuckel has been a success and I'd wager Dortmund would wait to see Ancelloti's effect. As for Dortmund getting tired of playing second fiddle, that's akin to Lyon saying they are tired of PSV's domination. A flash in the pan achievement does not mean you are now the biggest team. I'm not saying Bayern can't loose, but they will remain the biggest club in Germany for years to come and every once in a while they will hire a LVG that will give the other teams a chance.

Wow so much hatred for our own manager than now we have reached so low of presenting wrong facts for once own comfort. Bayern were crap prior to lvg's appointment.

Its not about lvg but why bring up wrong facts just because you hate some one.

With the level of criticism Lvg is getting I'm sure if we go on a run and win the league or even come 2nd that Lvg would pull down his pants at the end of season dinner, or give the press the middle finger b4 he leaves. With the December we had if we still manage to finish top 3 I would have no doubt in my mind that Lvg is a genius, if we finish second I might give him and extension. If we win the league or finish second with a trophy I 'will' give him an extension.

in a way i think pep's proven he's a bit of cunt the last few weeks. saying he was going etc was nothing more than attention-seeking. then he's got the front to complain that journos wanna ask him questions about city. far be it for me to sympathize with anything going on at our rivals, but on a human front you gotta feel for pellegrini. and equally you gotta respect the man for how he's carried himself. personally if I was him, I'd be making daft substitutions for the rest of the season so city and pep aren't even in the CL next yr.

Pep is no more than a primadona. So they say I can't make it in the premiership, I'll show them...
No Pep, the EPL will show you up, you see, the difference between taking over city vs united is that when you are in charge of city , you are expected to beat everyone, because of the money outlay, and the name. When you start loosing, which will DWF happen they will turn on you, can Pep handle that?

city are more bothered about playing silly games with us, than they are about making sure the wheels stay on their season. I wondered if the announcement would affect rest of the season, but didn't expect it to happen immediately.

I could see them missing out on top4 this season, then missing out again next season. In all honesty, most of the people on this blog could prob win the champions league with the barca side he had...

If Pep doesn't live up to expectations the English media would rip him apart, if he came to United and failed the media would drive him to suicide. It seems like the media are waiting patiently for any foreigner to fail so that rip them apart and drag their name through the mud. If next season is more exciting than this one then we are in for a treat. Aguero has dragged City to the position they find themselves it's not like they've been fantastic. The champions are having a nightmare season, Arsenal look like continuing the trend of only playing half a season and both Spurs and Leicester don't have the experience and mat crumble at the end. If Rooney had been in form from an earlier stage in the season we would have been competing by now, so I'm not giving up hope just yet. We havent played any of the teams above us this year so our destiny may lie in our own hands.

The rivalry between Manchester and Liverpool is getting ridiculous.I mean, just because the Liverpool fans walk-out of Anfield on the 77th minute protesting high ticket prices..
The Manchester City fans obviously felt the need to one up their scouse neighbours and therefore organised a walk-out before their game even kicked off.

Simple solution for liverpool after the 77 minute walkout yesterday..
Raise the prices to £90.

If asked, pochettino would be the ideal gamble. He will adhere to the attacking philosophy of united, continue to develop the younger players and buy the right quality. Of course it may take some time for his vision bed in but the progression he makes is clear.

The realistic situation now is the Jose will be coming in.. not that much of fan of his but if he is to be the manager, the club has to drill in the fact he must apply the United way into his set up. There are already some good potential in the squad, players like Adnan, pereira, bothwick etc. They all must be developed, and be in the first team. Mourinho also has to get rid a lot of the dreadful players who have played their part in United's decline. Players like young, jones and so forth. He will need to get ruthless. His transfer policy, youth policy and the footballing ideas would be the first sign of potential success under him. He needs to build a quality sustainable team that will continue to serve united.

King louis the deluded strikes again. Yes, they will really tell you about going behind your back just like they did with your impotent disciple comrade David moyes. I like how how he claims everything is back, the sun is out, united are about to ride off to the magnificent glory. What evidence over his tenure can he fall back on to support that statement. He knows he is losing grips with ship, he knows it but keeps singing the same old tune. "Defiant louis".. yeah right.

"l could see them missing out on top4 this season, then missing out again next season. In all honesty, most of the people on this blog could prob win the champions league with the barca side he had…"

You're living in an abstract world. In reality, city won't be finishing outside that top four, the wind has changed, they have invested and invested well to let such things happen. I still see people underestimating pep guardiola. Anyone could have won with that barca team. Did barcelona have that structure before he arrived ? Were they as successful? He put the team together at a fraction of what most top clubs would. Yes, the team had some gems coming through but the likes of iniesta were mere potential. He laid down vision and they've all benefited from it.

As I've said, pep is rational enough to realise he will have to adapt to the premier league. He will have been analysing the strength of the league, the intensity etc. He will know the league is balanced in terms of competition, he will know there isn't a complete monopoly by the big teams. City will be better next season and united have to wake up to that possibility.
