gone for a convincing win but am getting nervous for some reason. I think if we turn up then we should have no trouble scoring a couple of goals.

I hope we win (and am reasonably confident we will win) but would happily settle for any result that sends us through to the final, even a 2-1 defeat.

I voted for a draw but i am really becoming nervous.Semi final second legs have always given me some of my biggest thrills and my biggest disappointments.I remember doing Klinsmann dives around the house when Yorkey made it 2-2 in Turin.I also remember letting out a cry of relief after the Barca siege ended last season. But i also remember being in tears after Leverkusen. How did Solskjaer miss that close range shot? How did a defender named Placente make a name for himself by keeping Forlan's looped shot off the line, only to never be heard off again?Just get an early goal lads and lets make it boring for a change.

I think we will see a different Arsenal in this match, but I have faith that Sir Alex will have chosen the best 11 to match that. Should be a battling win for us.

I predict a shock in the starting line up tonight! I have a gut feeling Rooney will start on the bench in fear of getting a yellow to rule him out of the final!

I predict arsenal to score a lucky first goal from a deflected shot in the first half!
Vidic powers in a reply early in the second half with a header from a corner!
with 15 minutes to go Arsenal then Score another to leave a tense finish!
United defend like Warriors and celebrate at the final whistle!!

Arsenal on their day can beat anybody so I actually think this will be a 0-0 draw.

I believe Rooney will be on the bench and SAF will adopt a 4-4-2 formation including Berbatov and Tevez upfront. With Ronaldo, Anderson, Fletcher, Park in midfield.

Maybe Rooney will come on and score the winner in the 90th minute when Arsenal are laying siege to the United goal.

Whatver happens we are in for a very nervy night.

I predict united book a place in the final. I would celebrate whole night if we make tonite. My nerves are not great, spent the night setting up teams, imagining score lines, I even dreamt myself playing for United and scored a goal....they equalised in the 79th Minute though but am sure we would happily take that. I can only see united in ROME

United to score first...The Arse to go all out attack....maybe jam in a goal or two...United to kill it off before 75 mins. That's what i'm hoping anyway! :-D COME ON YOU REDS!!!

People..you know what im going to say. lol

Been a nervous wreck as usual....dry mouth...cant eat...cant sleep...cold sweats...hands shaking....praying van persie or anyone else wasnt fit ( that didnt work). Like Cherry ive been up all night with pen and paper...scribbling strengths and weaknesses....trying to find as many pluses for us to go through.

Negatives are can we play like we did at OT?
Can arsenal be so shit?

I doubt it...theyve been given a massive reprieve...a 2nd chance and a lifeline from last week. The whole world knows we had their necks on the platter with knife in hand ready to kill them off...yet we let them off the hook. And in life when you give people a 2nd breathe of air....they do come back to haunt you. And wengerbus seems verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry confident ' we will do it, just you see" " await a magnificent performance" " we have star quality" Blimey.

So obviously rather than us being 3-0 zip and me being slightly less nervy. My nerves are off the scale at mo.

Like Costas mentioned...and SAF always says.....we should have done better...how we ve reached so many semis yet fallen short..leverkusen, dortmund....and how we ran out of bodies and legs in milan. Arseholes also have had alot of luck at the emirates v us. 3 times we ve played them and 2 times it was late late winner and equaliser....and last year...flamin deflected goal and 2 handballs from clichy not given.

Like stephen said...hope it doesnt come to refs and controversy and dodgy calls. EG Giggsy and Ando being ONSIDE.

Personally we deserve to go through. Theyve faced the 7th and 8th placed team in la liga and seria A. Yet we've faced the champs of both portugal and italy.

So just hoping for some luck....no dodgy ref calls....no rooney yellow...no evra yellow and no carlitos yellow. An early goal to settle the nerves....and please NO 1-0 to them and extra time and pens.

As you guys will know i never make a prediction...i stay negative due to sheer nerves and not wanting to tempt fate.

So hopefully a 0-0 draw ( which i doubt) a score draw....or any 1 goal score defeat will do right now. 2-1 3-2 4-3 5-4 22-21. Any of our previous results at the emirates will do nicely. Just hoping we keep our concentration...cos away from home in clge this season we have been awesome.

Celtic Park...parkhead. 80% possesssion = 1 goal conceded
Villareal el madrigal....dominated game = 0 goals conceded
Aaalborg....= 0 goals conceded
Inter..san siro...dominated game = 0 goals conceded
Porto...dragao...dominated game = 0 goals conceded.

So just 1 goal let in. Bit of luck ( please)...heavy duty concentration..and hopefully we should be ok.

Saying that i'll end by saying.....you just get a feeling a spanner will be thrown into the works. Wish i could see the future and fastforward to 10.30pm..lol

Hoping we dont regret and rue what happened last week.

Why do you say that goonerchris?

Your players....fibreglass, wallmart, nasri, adebayor, moody van persie are quality players that worry me greatly.

Or.....are you a nervy gooner...not wanting to tempt fate either?

@suhayl..

without a shadow of doubt....ill go for untied to final....

its pretty simple...even if i fail...i can give it again......but...the final..no way...
thts the reason why...i still dint start preparing for exam....

Gooner Chris May 5, 2009
Because your boss will hit us on the counter attack with the outcome likely to be a goal for United.

That would practically seal your place in the final. Anyway, I'm not confident with our defence neither Adebayor!

Good luck, may the best team win (on aggregate). ;)

Ancha......great answer mate.....hope we pass through.....hope you pass also. United passing much more important though ofcourse. Exams come and go....supporting utd...following this great club....sharing in its rollercoaster of emotions lives with us forever. Something that can never be replicated.

GoonerChris...you maybe right...away goal is massive....but you got off last week.....youve been given a massive repreive, a 2nd bite at the cherry, a 2nd chance, a lifeline you really shouldnt have had. You know you should have already been buried. However we didnt nail that coffin...you'll certainly be lifted and bouyed by that and you cant play any worse...and you're at home.

We deserve to be there from last weeks show. But in football things do come back to haunt you....things you may regret or rue. thats what worries me as a utd fan.

LOL.

You guys are getting yourselves all worked up over nothing.

United have everything in their hands, do you really think they will throw away a 1-0 aggregate lead? Even if they do, all they need is a goal and they've practically won the game.

Footballs a funny and cruel game at times goonerchris....

A deflection....a post...a dodgy ref call...a red card...anything CAN HAPPEN. Things sometimes beyond your control take over and screw you over.

Anyway..i personally think you're very confident inside....but coming across all doom and gloom....not wanting to tempt fate.

You may say the same for me.....but really i am shitting my pants.

And wish and picture why we arent taking atleast a 3-0 lead into this game.
Thats whats killling me.
