Real Madrid’s new director general Jorge Valdano claims he knows nothing about a supposed contract already in place to transfer Cristiano Ronaldo to the Spanish club this summer.
Valdano, who came with the newly elected president, Florentino Perez, says if it does exist, he hasn’t seen it.
“I still don’t know,” said Valdano. “I don’t know if Florentino, who arrived at the Bernabeu this afternoon, had any physical contact with any contract that is said to exist. I still haven’t seen it.”
