Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he is hoping to extend his current deal at Manchester United to allow him to finish his career at the club.
Rio is just two years away from being entitled to a testimonial but would like to stay at the club past then.
“I want to finish my career at United,” said Rio. “I have two years on my contract, and if the manager sees that I am fit enough, a four-year deal at that age would be great.”
