Michael Owen was surprisingly revealed as Manchester United’s new number seven, replacing Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Real Madrid. Owen, who spent a year in Madrid, has been fully endorsed by Ronaldo as the new number seven.
“Michael Owen is an experienced player. He has played at the biggest clubs,” said Ronaldo. “You don’t have a lot of pressure just because you have the number seven. I think Manchester United did well to give him the number seven. He’s a great player and he has everything to win there. He’s at a fantastic club, he’s a great player.”
