Ronaldinho has claimed AC Milan are treating tonight’s game like the final and reckons that their defence will be good enough to stop us from scoring.

My big dream is to win the Champions League this season because I am convinced that will help my chances of being picked by Brazil for the World Cup. If I can achieve this, it follows that the national team coach, Dunga, will select me for South Africa this summer. This game is like a cup final for me. United are a great club and it’s unjust for us to play them at this stage of the competition. Whoever goes out, it will be the most emotive elimination of the Champions League, so we are treating this game like the final. The key thing is to stop them scoring. United are in good form but so are Milan and at this level the differences are small. People think United are just about Rooney. But that’s not true.He’s on a sensational scoring run but it will be in midfield where we have to dominate. Besides, Rooney is a big player but our defenders are the best in Europe. Then there is Beckham. He is more focused than ever.”
