@Kings.. you meaning that Ronaldo was not a United Legend?

No offence but if a player scores 40 goals from a wing position in one season, & Nearly single handedly Wins us the Premiership in 2 or 3 seasons running... Gets Voted World Player of the Year.... Played with us for 6 seaons.. He gets my legend status vote!

@CROoney - Ronaldo Knew he was signing for Madrid Last year, Fergie knew he was signing for Madird, The board and Owners knew he was signing for Madrid last year so are all of them hypocrite?

Question for you.... What good would it have done our team, Premier League, Champions League Campaigns if they all Said.. ROnaldo is joining Madrid at the end of the season??

My Answer would have been None!... Our Moral would have went to shit.. WE possibly could have drawen or lost a few games we actualy won last year becasuse of this!!! Result - Second in Premier League - Winners the Scousers! ... Put out in the semi final of Champs league by a gloating Wenger!! (not stating it would happen for a fact but a possibilty!)

With regards to your comments about Tevez who knows what was happening behind the scenes!.. Maybe Tevez just didnt have the right attitude! Maybe Fergie couldnt figure him out. maybe his face didnt fit!...... Maybe his returnon the pitch wasnt good enough and Fergie was using his experience! WHo knows!

Confoundedbridge, you look at the tackle properly and you'll know why. Ronnie's opponent put his foot flat up studs showing right into Ronnies knee. Now if that's not intended, I don't know what is. He should thank his lucky stars his studs did not get stuck in the ground as the damage would have been devastating.

With regards to Mark Hughes thie signings he has made and they way he conducts himself has me worred!

Hughes will alwasy be a united legend in my eyes! he is manager of City now so shit happens!

I think city will win the Premier league within the next 5 years. There is no way they cant! Once they get into the champions league they will be able to attract a higher or more higher classed players!! Some footballers go where the money is, Some go where they can win things... Some go for both!!

Do i think dislike hughes for what he is doing with city? No

He is doing a good job for now! Lets see how handles the pressure week in week out!

It's not really that different. He's not really educated to do anything else and if he can't play football anymore most he can do is become a TV pundit.
PS:I mean to maintain the lifestyle that he's used to,not to survive.

Trevor - mate but at least what he could have done is that he could have shut up...just like tevez at the moment - shut the f*** up....tevez' saying crap at the moment , ronaldo was saying it back then...sure , we accepted the bid , but he shouldn't have said all these "my heart is here crap" when knowing he was off...and that conffesion "i knew i was off after the CL final " (the moscow final ) was uncalled for. i mean ok - you fooled us, you made us believe you were gonna stay, now shut the hell up, you know ? i dunno - it seems really hypocritical to me .
my point is that with tevez we always knew he was off and he didn't say " i'm staying, my heart is here "and all that crap - he had a fall out with SAF and he holds a grudge against him - simple as. but at least he was proffesional and behaved like a proffesional while he was here, unlike ronaldo who made the show after being subbed against City...tevez was subbed many times , in fact he wasn't even used in some matches but behaved as a proffesiona. i mean i'm really amazed how people seem to forget all these things (cronaldo city "spoiled brat" antics ). sure - he is the best player on the planet ( although it's a relative thing considering that the current form is what makes players best on the planet ), well at least we can all agree he's the most complete player on the planet, but he has an awful egocentric mentality and please don't think that he cares one bit about "the fans". i'm in belief that he scored all these goals for himself and dedicated them to himself and not to "help the team " and all that crap.his aim was to win everything because of himself.his aim was to become the greatest player in the world and once he fulfilled it, he moved on for the new challenge. that's what we were to him - the challenge. and believe me, had SAF retired like 2 years ago he would have moved 2 years ago. so there we have, two players - two very similar situations in tevez and ronaldo - one LEFT cos of SAF, other STAYED cos of SAF.and all these double standards is what bother me .

@ King Eric - i dunno mate - if we see more rections like against fulham, i have a feeling Fergie will lose his patience -i actually think his bullish mentality and a hot head will have proved out to be a problem at the end - i dunno, maybe i'm worng -

but now is the time to step up, mature and dragg us to the foruth consecutive title

Wonders why so many of you read me wrong. I am not slating Hargreaves here, I am saying sometimes injuries are just a mental thing, Saha said that. Operations are not only done to fix things, in fact, most of the operations are done to check things, so its not that the more operations you have, the more problems you have. Yes maybe Hargreaves could very well be very badly injured, but that should not stop him from aspiring to be as fit as Ronaldo? Is it wrong for me to say every footballer in the world should aspire to be like Ronaldo in terms of fitness? If anyone disagrees, I have nothing more to say.
- Hating Ronaldo is one thing, giving credit is another, and credit to him for being able to stand up after so many career ending tackles attempted on him, when was the last time you see him stretched off? We're not blind, like many other clubs' fans, when there is a bloody good player, we acknowledge. Hell, I'll say Torres is one of the best strikers in the world at this moment, anyone disagree?

Trevor - No I am sorry mate I have to disagree with you on this one. As I said Ronnie was a fantastic player for us over the 6 seasons not least his last three but his attitude and ways prevent him (in my view) being a LEGEND. That is a word you can't use lightly. LEGENDS for me are: Best, Charlton, Law, Busby, Robbo, Cantona, Keano and Giggsy. At a push the great dane.

the boogeyman - If Ronnie's career WAS to come to an end he would never have to work again. The financial compensation would be HUGE!

CRooney - Yeah I know what you mean mate but I think Sir Alex knows what Wayne is all about. He knows he gives it his all every match and his "passion" may spill over to aggression but Fergie will never try and take this passion from Waynes game. You have to admit that save for a couple of silly moments he has grown up a hell of a lot.

Trevor - I cannot accept that Ronnie won us the league 3 years running "nearly single handedly". I don't subscribe to that notion. It is a TEAM game and as you know mate that is what United have always and will always be about.

It has now sunk in that we are not going to make any more signings.. For the first time this summer I feel that our squad has not improved since last year whereas our rivals are all improving their squads..

Anyone want to disagree?

King Eric August 3, 2009
Tony Starks - Yeah I disagree mate. We don't need to improve our SQUAD particularly, we have more than enough good players for each position. Don't forget this is the squad that the media were calling "the best in Europe" last season. Ok we have lost 2 but gained 3 players and what is to say that we won't get another player in ? Still 3 weeks or more to go. You never know Tony if Silva turns in a top performance on Weds we may go for him! No I think our squad is superb and certain players will really step up. Anyway you say others have strengthened their squads but who exactly? The dippers are about to lose the heartbeat of their team from last season and have bought fucking Johnson who cannot actually defend. The rentboys have signed Sturridge and Ross Turnbull. Come on pal if you think either of those two are good enough for United, no way. Arsenal have sold their top scorer from 2 seasons ago and the only remaining player from their "invincible" season and as for the massive club they ain't even worth worrying about. No I cannot see your reasoning behind this Tony and I often agree with you but not this time.

You just wait this season the players will play as a team again and will be very hard to break down. Coupled with the fact we will hopefully score more than last season, no I am VERY positive about the coming season.

King Eric

Yeah am hoping for more positive views like this to make this week bearable, because Liverpool are buying Aquilani from Roma - a player I like very much (has much more to offer than Alonso). I think Chelsea are definately going to buy a big player, and Arsenal also.

If the transfer window ended now it would be fine. But it seems the others are starting to make moves in the market and we have declared that our business is finished.

Anyway I know it's not all about big signings but I just get a little feeling maybe the budget is not as big as we think.

Anyway.. Come of SAF - Berba and Rooney up front on Wednesday please!

Grygera just got his 15 mins of fame... The challenge on Micky Owen against Bayern wasn't much better...didn't see owen making as much fuss as old Ronnie though and owen is supposed to be a crock.

Tony - Yeah fair enough mate. Would like to see Owen and Rooney together as well. As for the Dippers they may be buying Aquilani (although the fsw will probably fuck that up) but they will be losing Alonso who was superb last season and makes the scousers tick.

Yeah you could tell Owen has a bit shaken after that stupid challenge, but I think he tried his best not to show that he was hurt because of the injury prone reputation he came with.. Imagine all the headlines if he had to go off injured.. But it would have been through no fault of his own
