Last weekend, Manchester United fans organised for a plane to fly over Real Madrid’s game with a message for Cristiano Ronaldo, telling him to come home.
Ronaldo has today reacted to that banner, claiming he is glad United fans still remember him fondly, but that he’s happy in Madrid.
“I always said that I have a family at Manchester but I’m good in Madrid,” he said. “I’m glad of the affection that United fans have for me, it means that I have left good memories.”
