After United’s easy 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough yesterday, Wayne Rooney has again reiterated his commitment to the club, claiming he will sign any extension given to him.

Having spent five years at the club already, Rooney intends to spend the rest of his footballing career at Old Trafford.

His commitment on the field is clear for anyone to see, with Rooney putting every shred of energy in to helping the team win, whether that be attacking the opponent’s goal or helping defend ours.

Rooney signed a six year extension back in 2006 which would see him at the club until he is 27-years-old.

“I am happy here and I’d sign a new contract any time,” said Rooney. “I want to stay at this club for the rest of my career. I will sign an extension any time the club want me to.”
