Wayne Rooney has sung the praises of his team mate Anthony Martial, who has scored four and assisted one in his opening five games at Manchester United.
He’s been incredible. He’s a young lad, we have to remember that. I think he’ll be a big player for us this season and in the future but we need to let him enjoy his football and I’m sure he’ll have magic moments for us.
Louis van Gaal was also impressed with the efforts of his young signing.
I am very pleased with the performance of Anthony because he is not only a goalscorer, he is also an attacking point and he also prepares goals. So for us he is more important than I thought before he came.
