Manchester United played out another boring 0-0 draw with Villarreal last night, which seals both clubs’ position in the next round.

Former United player, Giuseppe Rossi, started up front for the Spanish club, although didn’t have the impact on the game he probably hoped for.

After the match he spoke about his feelings towards United, claiming he still looks out for all our results.

“I really enjoyed it,” Rossi said. “It was a tough because we were playing a team of real quality. But the result was good. The main focus for us was to get through. It was really special for me. I spent three great years with United and now I’m playing for Villarreal I’m enjoying that too. We’re doing well in La Liga, we’re third, and now we’re doing it in the Champions League as well. I’m enjoying life here in Spain. I like the set-up, the lifestyle and the football we’re playing, of course. I’m just getting used to it. I still look out for United’s results, always. I left some great friends back in Manchester and some great team-mates, too. I wish United the best.”
