Ahead of Louis van Gaal’s second season in charge at Manchester United, Peter Schmeichel has looked at some of the questions the manager has to address.

Louis Van Gaal has come into Manchester United and he’s done a really good job. He got us into the Champions’ League, which I think is the most important thing, but now is a big test.

Can he make Manchester United what Manchester United is meant to be and supposed to be? Can he make them exciting to watch? Can he make Old Trafford the fortress it’s been? Can he make them play so that the fans love to watch them every time and can he get results? I think these are very very big questions, and this second season is gonna give us answers.

Schmeichel was talking at the launch of Carlsberg’s new ‘If Carlsberg Did Kickabouts’ TV ad.
