Sir Alex Ferguson thought that Paul Scholes would be out for a few weeks following his injury against Aalborg yesterday, subbed off 15 minutes in to the game. Other reports suggested it could be as much as two months.
Sadly, it’s even longer…
The club have today confirmed that Scholes will be out of action for ten weeks, meaning he will miss 15 games in all competitions, most noteably our away trips to Arsenal, City, Villarreal and Celtic, thanks to medial ligament damage.
How costly is this Scholes injury?
