Bastian Schweinsteiger has spoken about Wolfsburg ahead of our match against them tonight in the Champions League. Schweinsteiger scored his first goal for Bayern Munich against them and obviously knows some of their players well.

I scored my first goal for Bayern away at Wolfsburg, so I have good memories. But I always remember it wasn’t easy to play against them. They were always tough matches. Wolfsburg have a good team, especially over the last three or four years. They have improved a lot.

I’m looking forward to the match against them. It’s a big challenge for us. Of course, I have some friends in their team, especially Dante, who I know really well, and the other German national players. So I’m looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.

I met Andre Schurrle with the national team. I sent some messages to Dante because we don’t just speak about football – we speak about our private lives as well. He’s really a friend of mine. We spoke, of course, when we found out we were playing against each other, but nothing special.
