Highly rated Bayern Munich midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger, has spoken about the possibility of signing for Manchester United.

Schweinsteiger, who enjoyed a brilliant World Cup with Germany, would most likely leave his club in the summer, if he is to leave, so that Bayern can make money on him before leaving for free the following year.

“I love the speed of the English game but I don’t know what will happen with me,” he said. “I have a contract until 2012 but we will see. What I love is the atmosphere in English stadiums. When we played last year in Manchester it was fantastic. My brother is a big fan of Man U and he always says, ‘Go to Man U, go to Man U.’ I say, ‘I can’t, I can’t by maybe they can swap me for Rooney!”
