Jose Mourinho has made it perfectly clear that he has no place for Bastian Schwesinteiger in his Manchester United squad. Aside from the player training with the Reserves instead of the first team, Mourinho has spoken about Schweinsteiger repeatedly and confirmed he has no place for him in his squad.

However, with the transfer window about to close, Schweinsteiger has confirmed he has no intentions of leaving the club, and still intends to impress Mourinho enough to reconsider his decision.

My absolute dream would be to continue to play at Manchester United. I have no problem with Mourinho, I know his plans. One has to wait and see how it goes in September and October.

One thing is for sure: I’m not going to stop playing football. I still believe in my own ability. I could still help Man United if given the chance.

The MLS transfer window is closed. So it won’t happen this season. I (have) become more mature. I know how to deal with such situations. I already had more difficult moments. I’m fine.
