Setanta Showing The Final

Starting today and lasting for a possible two weeks, Setanta have halved their connection fee to £7.50.

United’s match against Spurs in a couple of weeks, where Dimitar Berbatov is set to feature against his former team again, as well we the Arsenal vs Chelsea FA Cup semi-final and the FA Cup final are all going to be shown on Setanta.

I personally find it ridiculous that the Cup final won’t be shown on normal TV for everyone to see but if you want to watch the final (with the hope that United are going to be there!) and are having as much luck as I am this season with the ticket office, then you might want to bite the bullet on this one.

I think it'll still be shown on one of the terrestrial channels. ITV maybe.

It's been the same with a few games this season where they've shown them on both ITV and Setanta at the same time.

I wish. Given that there are something around 50,000 season ticket holders and about 3,000 tickets going for most away matches, I'd have to be pretty bloody lucky to get my application approved for every away day.

I haven't even applied for the FA Cup semi though. I always went to Villa Park but fuck Wembley semis.

I hope its on ITV or anything other than setanta. I have setanta but the picture ALWAYS, ALWAYS messes up. You cant watch a proper match on it. Bloody amateurs.

why not steal the setanta signle from "myp2p.eu" if you've got broadband and the right cables you can hook it up to your tv. I've done it myself and also seen it done in my local pub.

I really hate the new wembley, and i hate playing the semi there. Atmosphere at villa park used to be top class and was worth going to but i cba travelling all the way darrrrnn sarrrf to wembley to pay over the top prices for everything.

ITV will definitely show the final, that's for sure. There is a list of sporting events that, by law, must be shown on a free television channel, and the FA Cup Final is one of them.

The list is:

I think I would rather watch it on Setanta, rather than ITV, to be honest.

I feel for you pittm, spent some time in California and had to pay 20 dollar cover charge to get into an English bar to watch games. Ended up being more expensive than a season ticket.

I feel sorry for the 75% (not real figure) of fans who pay for Setanta but can't get a signal... That channel is one of the banes of my life... such a fucking rip off but I pay it to watch United!

I hate Setanta!!! The signal is so shit and the presentation isnt much better.
Stevie fucking Catwalk jabbering scouse shite! And knowing that if we were in the states you could watch it in HD! Theyr'e are crap and I'm glad Sky have got the majority for next year (never thought I'd say that), just need to get rid of Louise's lil bitch and somebody please KILL andy gray!
