there is no need of signing any new ronaldinho or new pele..because manu is the only team in the world football club have got more number of talented youngsters like...tozic,petrucci,kiko,welbeck,possebon,fabio,rafael,foster,..i thk we can add anderson,nani,gibson,....we have got players for all position ...and adem ladjjic (the new no 7)...and more like dodo...and what more we need..
dont judje any player frm youtube videos...

Right from the time SAF started giving out number 7 to the players he bought CANTONA,BECKHAM,RONALDO,you will notice that they all have 7 letters to their name so am n6t expecting him to wear number 7,instead Macheda or Welbeck.Watch this space.

No problem in Valencia getting it.

Dont forget that before players were given the number for a season it just used to be a shirt number assigned to players.

I remember back in the 90's Kanchelskis wore number 7 when Robson was injured.

To be honest aslong as whoever gets it is consistent and plays for the team then Id be happy.

Rooney would make a great Number 7 for the history books though!

personally i would love to have Macheda wearing that number.. just for the sake of glamour lol. but he certainly has the potential doesnt he? if not, then just let it vacant for next season.

but anyway i would trust SAF with any decision he makes on the future of number7.

anyway for all those insisting it should be benzema, all the hints are that he will sign for madrid.... i sure hope the newspapers are wrong!

No way on this earth should Valencia be given the number 7 shirt. Have seen enough of him over the last 2 seasons to convince me he will be nothing more than a decent squad player, ala, Park, Nani etc.
Apparently Benzema has just agreed a deal with Real in teh last hour so he is gone.
I think it looks like there may be no-one left that will be worthy of the 7. Ribery if he Bayern can finally get over '99, and let him come to us.
But apart from that, there is nothing wrong with leaving it vacant for a season, and seeing if Welbeck, Macheda, Petrucci, or Ljacic can step up and prove they may be worthy of it.

If Benzema is really coming, apart from what's written today, then give him the no. 7.
Valencia should not be given the number, at least not just yet.
