The Mirror has today reported that Inter Milan have accepted a bid in excess of £30m for Wesley Sneijder. They claim that terms have not been agreed with the player but that Inter have agreed to sell.

They have also claimed that PSG are prepared to pay £18m for Dimitar Berbatov. David Gill confirmed that United have the option to extend Berba’s contract by one year next summer, an option which, he claimed, the club wanted to take up. He described the deal has essentially having two years remaining and there were no plans to talk to the player about an extension until next summer.

All in all, two very disappointing “massive exclusives” with no quotes to support what they are reporting.
