Robin van Persie missed a penalty yesterday in United’s 1-0 defeat against West Brom. The penalty would have been the equaliser for United and could have signalled the start of the turnaround. As it was, United went on to lose the game, having now lost three games in a row, scoring in none of them.
These stats prove that Van Persie isn’t alone in being a disappointment for United from the penalty spot.
