With Carlos Tevez’s permanent move to Manchester United yet to be sealed, there had been reports that Manchester City were looking to hijack the deal.

His loan deal ends in the Spring, opening up speculation that those at Far Eastlands could try and lure the player away.

However, just like with Dimitar Berbatov a few weeks, there is only one Manchester team Tevez is interested in playing for.

Just yesterday, Tevez told the press that he was looking to see out the rest of his career with United, a move which was warmly received by our fans. Today, Tevez’s advisor, Kia Joorabchian, has ruled out any blue move for our player.

“Carlos is not joining Manchester City,” said Joorabchian. “All this talk linking him with them is a complete load of nonsense. He is a Manchester United player through and through and is looking forward to signing a long-term contract with them in the near future.”
