Sir Alex Ferguson, thank you for making our lives so much better. Thank you for ending the dark years, for Eric Cantona, for squeaky bum time, for the Nou Camp 99, for Ryan Giggs, for 11 titles, for the bragging rights, for putting faith in youth, for the great football, for the last minute winners, for rebuilding us time and again, for Moscow, for Paul Scholes, for knocking them off their perch, for the Treble, for the tears of joy and everything else in between.
The past 20 years or so have been bloody brilliant for us reds, so on the 24th anniversary of his appointment, here’s to Sir Alex!
