Kings - He did gate crash the celebritions for someone who's not even a number 2 for Spain, don't think he played any part in the WC.

@Costas - it makes me sick imagining it. This Ballack nonsense during the summer made me sick. it's weird sometimes but we already have people wishing Berba all the best...
but sometimes shit happens, it's life. the most important thing is for the most important people to remain.

@Corea

Sorry to hear that mate. I hope the postal service, the club, or whoever is responsible solves the problem as soon as possible. There have been a few times when I was expecting stuff from England and it never arrived. The company that I ordered them from was nice enough to send them again. But it's usually the postal service's problem.

@Kings -
"Hernandez will be the difference for us this season"
agreed. let's hope it will be the case.
but the games against City i feel will be something we won't forget for a long long time.

Yeah mate. Reports today said that he felt his hamstring after the friendly at Wembley. Shocking hey? That's why I wouldn't start with him tomorrow.

@Corea

Good memories indeed. I hope he gets a good reception tomorow.

Thought the L'pool / Arse game was a decent performance from two mid table teams - htf does Gerrard stay on the park - at least two incidents (not even tackles) when he should have seen at least yellow. Arse showed nothing in the middle and reckon their two centre backs can be beat by pace. Keeper wise - both teams had me weeping with laughter - wonder what that drunken sot Piers Morgan will say about that perormance.
One or two injuries to the back four of the vermin and they are well and truly stuffed.

TheArse were dire - no improvement in their team play which is still too slow and lacks incisiveness in the danger area; The KopSukkers were not much better - and, of course, StevieGBH avoided proper sanctions for his reckless tackling, as usual. Neither of these teams has the quality - or depth, in the case of TheArse - in central defence. It's a long long season and injuries to central defenders always happen so depth in this position is crucial. On a happier note, I notice that Jose is sniffing around Drogba - losing him would be a real body-blow to the RentBoyz; the guy is just a sledgehammer.

If balotelli can keep his temper in check and concentrate solely on his football he can become the best in the world.Mancini introduced him in the Inter first team and gave a few chances so he may get along well with Mancini who may get the best out of him

"29-year-old midfielder Carrick believes United must record an equally emphatic start to their campaign to avoid having to make up ground later in the season. "

No penalty kicks then, eh Michael ?

Actually thought Arsenal were ok. Wenger needs akeeper and a centre back to really get in the title race and have a chance of winning it. Cant understand why Rosickydidnt start. did well after coming on. Impressed by Liverpool. Showed some fight. With Torres fit and probably Remy to arrive they can challenge for the title.

AIG

you said you were gone for a month but somehow can comeback here and there to say "chelseas power will start tomorrow,chelsea domence is back arsenal looked good liverpool looked better- I know if,as a united fan, i got a spare second to come on to a united blog - I might have a kind word to say towards United

Arsenal were crap- they didnt capitilise on liverpools 10 men and didnt do much- both teams today were like a skinny girl at a hotdog eating contest - all hyper and excited but aint gonna swollow more than 5
chelsea yesterday were good. . . . . . against west brom , but when the real questions were asked against Manchester United chelse looked like west brom- and United werent givin 100% in that game but they made them look ordinary(_GIGGS)

Sir Alex I believe has built another wall like the one he built in 94' if you look at the many different aspects that made that team one of Sir Alexs and manchester uniteds Best ever you can really match it up to what we have today

arsenal were beyond pathetic! they were playing against 10 men throughout most of the game, and for a team which prides itself on its passing and possession, they could barely get the ball from the scousers. pool didn't play great, but they showed some fight till till reina fucked up of course :D that was pretty hilarious. pool might do better than they did with the fsw, but arsenal looked very very poor.
and chelsea do still look like the team to beat, we did thrash them in the community shield, but let's not get too complacent with them, as they are a very efficient team- that much credit i'll give them. that having said, west brom are a nothing team, and i expect us to put newcastle (and the rest of the premier league) to the sword. this squad has it in them to do great things. i was feeling a bit pessimistic and cranky yesterday after watching Chelshit, but it was ONLY WEST BROM. Shitty looked....well shitty, Hart massively saved their asses. and today the showing between the Gooners and the Dippers also showed that they probably won't trouble our position in the league too much :)
think it's going to be a goal glut tomorrow. and rooney will break his draught. COME ON YOU REDS!!!

Geez, after all these years, can't Wenger find a better response than "I didn't see it" when he is addressing decisions that went in his favour? In my opinion it's a situation where a ref has the right to show a red or can just show a yellow. It isn't that hard to defend that decision Arsene. ;)

Anyone willing to bet that Cole's red will be rescinded?

Gotta hate tiny tears - there is pieces missing for the current united to match up to the 94 team. has I call the 94 team the perfect 11 of grit power pace and teqnique and a team full of soldiers and prison type personalitys has it was a tough group of personalitys, put the 94 team in the 2010 premiership no team would live with them. But 2010 is a team who seems now they have found a identity again which was lacking this time last season.

Valencia Cost us the title- he had 2 clearcut shots on goal against blackburn after berbatov twice set the boy up- if he'd of scored we would of won the league but he diidnt so its alllllll his fault - sell floplencia before the window closes

Costas - Cole's card will definitely be rescinded because he is not a United player. The FA have really shown such utter double standards this summer by overlooking Vieira's and Fullers Red Cards in pre-season friendlies. Fucking Arseholes.
