Football Aid, a charity for which our very own Wilf McGuinness is an ambassador of, are offering you the opportunity to train at Carrington.
Learn the world-class tricks from official Manchester United coaches, with Football Aid`s fantastic Manchester United Master Class at Carrington – 2009`s most definitive training experience!
The Manchester United Master Class is the ultimate football experience, giving fans of the beautiful game an exclusive insight into the life of a professional footballer. Kicking off on the 14th May, club coaches will be onside to put fans through the drills, thrills and spills experienced by professional footballers during training sessions.
You will gain an exclusive insight into the life of a professional player: gaining access to and using the Club`s Academy training facilities, sacred areas not usually open to the general public.
A bus shall take you from Old Trafford to “Fortress Carrington”, where not even the media can get past the trees and fencing! Here, you will meet your club coaches for the day and find out exactly “What Makes a Champion Team”, before being whisked away for a nutritional lunch. An exciting morning is then turned into an adrenaline-filled afternoon with a unique training session hosted by Manchester United`s official club coaches. You will then take part in a short series of matches where you can act out your new found world-class skills alongside your team mates. To top off your day, you are invited to a post-match presentation ceremony, followed by a return trip back to Old Trafford and immediate bragging rights to your friends!
Players will be divided into teams of 8 (though positions can still be secured individually). And with many positions still available to Buy Now or bid for at www.footballaid.com, there has never been a better opportunity for you to spend a day at one of Europe’s finest training facilities.
Football Aid was founded in 2000 by businessman and Football Aid Chairman Craig Paterson, and has so far donated over £1.3m to charitable organisations around the country. Football Aid provides fans with the ultimate footballing experience – whether it is being put through your paces at your clubs training academy, or actually putting your skills to the test by playing on the hallowed turf at your favourite clubs stadium.
All funds raised from events are distributed through Football Aid’s parent charity, Field of Dreams towards diabetes research, education and management projects and also to charities nominated for funding by the clubs involved in these events.
