Liverpool’s draw with Chelsea this evening means United are six points clear of 5th place with two games left to play. United’s goal difference is superior by 14 too.

For Liverpool to replace United in the top four, they would have to win both their remaining games (at home to Crystal Palace and away to Stoke) and United would have to lose both of ours (at home to Arsenal and away to Hull). They would also need to make up the 14 goals.

It’s not official yet, but United certainly look in a great position to be in next season’s Champions League.
