Manchester United beat Colchester 3-0 this evening to progress to the League Cup semi-final. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial both scored, as well as Mason Greenwood delivering a dangerous cross that resulted in an own goal.
After the game, we were drawn against City in the semi-finals. The other remaining teams are Leicester and Aston Villa.
Looking to the most recent derby, where City could consider themselves lucky not to be 4-0 down at half-time, we may well go in to the tie the more confident.
However, over two legs, it will be a big ask for United to book the place in the final.
