Manchester United have now equalled the Champions League record of 19 games without defeat. Our last defeat came in the European Cup semi-final against AC Milan the season before last, before progressing through the 2007-2008 campaign without defeat and lifting the trophy.
Ajax and Bayern Munich are the other teams sharing the unbeaten record.
Our 2-2 draw with Aalborg last night meant United have no equalled the unbeaten record, which is rather surprisingly, considering these unbeaten records aren’t usually our scene. But well done Reds!
Now, let’s see if we can make it 20 and 21 games unbeaten… against Real Madrid…?
