David Beckham, who is currently behaving dreadfully towards the club that pay him £500,000 a week, has today confirmed that he will be in the San Siro tomorrow night, cheering on his boyhood team, Manchester United, against his current team’s rivals.
“I’m sure that United will have had scouts at the game against Milan last week and at many other games that Inter have played recently,” said Beckham. “They are two great teams. United have got some incredible players and so have Inter. United are favourites in my eyes, but I’m biased. I think they are because of the strength of their squad and the way they have been playing recently. They are on a run where they look unbeatable, and I hope that continues. As a Man United fan, I’m on their side – and also as a Milan player. I’ll be coming to the game and I’m sure I’ll speak to some of the players and the manager. It’s going to be a great game, but I obviously hope that United win.”
