Antonio Valencia has signed a 4-year-deal with Manchester United after making what is believed to be £16m move from Wigan.
Whilst not expecting to fill the boots of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Ecuadorian winger will certainly strengthen the squad after enjoying a successful period with Steve Bruce down the road at the JJB.
“Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me,” said Valencia. “I have enjoyed my time at Wigan, but I am thrilled to have the chance to challenge for the biggest honours in club football here. Playing in front of 76,000 fans alongside players like Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs will be an amazing experience. I can’t wait to get started.”
