United remain top, despite playing a game less than Liverpool, following a draw in the Merseyside derby. Stevie Me thought he’d saved his club, yet again, before Cahill scored Everton’s equaliser three minutes from time.

Liverpool fans thought they had seen the worst of their sorrows over the past few days, following late winners from United and Chelsea. However, with time running out at Anfield, to concede against their bitter rivals and miss out on their chance to return to the top must be a hard pill to swallow.

Fancy a laugh?

In their past 12 Premiership games, they have won 5, drawn 6 and lost 1, meaning they have dropped 15 points. United have won all their league games since returning from Japan, the trip that was supposed to take it out of us, winning 9 of our last 12.

Since Gerrard’s arrest and Rafa’s rant, Liverpool have failed to win in the league. Good for them though, staying top until January. Not quite as long as Arsenal lasted last season but still fairly impressive, for them at least.
