Manchester United’s former captain, Nemanja Vidic, decided to leave the club for Inter Milan during the last campaign. With United slipping to 7th under David Moyes, it was clear that Vidic felt it was time to move on to a new challenge.

Vidic’s agent, Silvano Martina has told Gazzetta TV that the defender is fully committed to his new club, despite United inquiring about the possibility of re-signing him in the last transfer window.

Will he stay at Inter? I think he should do, yes, because he has another two years on his contract. In fact, I want to reveal something. Last year he made a specific choice to come to Milan, seeing as Manchester United wanted to keep him and kept calling up to December. Vidic is a great professional and never had problems with anyone, not even Mancini and Inter.
