Manchester United’s U-18s won their league this season, finishing six points clear of second placed City and 10 points clear of third placed Liverpool.
United’s academy graduates were given far more playing time in the first team too, playing 6220 minutes. In contrast, City’s academy graduates were given, in total, less than two hours of playing time in the league, with just 106 minutes. Spurs’ graduates were given 4041 while Liverpool’s had 1582.
