Manchester United averaged 9,000 unsuccessful applications for every away game last season, when we finished 4th in the league and didn’t win anything.
That means that over the course of a season United sold out every allocation at every away match, and had over 360,000 apply for tickets and miss out.
To even apply for an away ticket, you must have a season ticket and you must go to every home cup game. For every game, there are 200-600 tickets that go to executive season ticket holders too.
Basically, whatever the club try to do to improve the allocation of away tickets, 1,000s of reds are going to get chubbed for every game.
