Park Ji-Sung is impressed with the Manchester United new shirt design, which although looks remarkably like Mexico’s 2007 kit, is meant to be celebrating 100 of being in Old Trafford. The kit we wore in the 1909/1910 season, our first year in the ground, also had a chevron across the chest.

Park recognises the importance of history at our club and likes to think we will win every game we play in this new kit.

“It always feels great to put the kit on and there is always a great meaning behind our kits,” said Park. “History is very important at this club and it’s something all the players are aware of. I really like the chevron feature – I like to think of it as ‘V’ for victory and hopefully we can win every game we play in the new kit.”
